I've had millions of products purchased on shopee but I hardly leave any reviews. However, I hope this review can help you make the right decision.First, I bought it simply because it was sold cheaper here. I usually buy my supplements from reliable sources but I decided to see if I could have gotten it cheaper. But what I received was different from what I've purchased in the past.1. Different packaging. Labeling are just stickers stuck on it. Suspicious as it looks like labels could be printed by anyone and simply stick on some plain packaging.2. Ziplock not serviceable at all. Suspicious if a company like Myprotein can't even get this right.3. Packaging very dusty/ sandy/ or whatever it is that covered the whole packaging when received. Myprotein Pea Protein Isolate, Mango, flavour is good one. Bought 1 kg pack it last long for a month and mango flavour is good it's not bad at all. There are some strong reasons why you will have to move towards taking protein supplements. The regular food that you take certainly contains proteins. However, the requirement is amplified during the situations described above. Also, if you are a vegan, you will need protein supplements in more quantities since you do not have access to the majority of foods like meat, chicken, fish, dairy, and eggs that contain good amounts of protein. So, it boils down to the fact that protein supplements are becoming highly popular among different segments of people to meet their need for adequate protein intake.

For as far back as I can remember I've always wanted to be a Vegan. And now you can too by drinking pea protein isolate. To be honest it's the gluten and dairy free aspect that aligns me to this product. Not much taste but that's fine with me. Mixes okay, pretty much fluctuates depending on batch. No idea if it does me any good but a serving of protein can't do you no harm right ? Mainly use it whilst on bike as I can't stomach those carbohydrate drinks. Essentially sugar and water. Fills you up to. So go on give it a try..... or I'll send Paulie round. I hear he likes painting houses.

Great substitute for lactose intolerant people!
21 April 2023

Bought a 1 kg pack a few weeks ago and I am done with it, now purchasing my second one. So first of all I am not into the whole Vegan Fad, I use this protein because it was the only protein ever that had no adverse effect on my stomach at all, unlike the whey and casein proteins I have used in the past. I am quite lactose intolerant and hence, no matter which brand I pick, be it ON or Muscleblaze or MuscleTech, I had to adjust and tolerate at least a week long stomach discomfort before my body could adjust to the milk proteins, however with this Pea Protein, I had no noticeable discomfort at all.. The taste is a little tricky. I wouldn't suggest experimenting with mango, etc., get a simple chocolate one and you will acquire the taste. The taste of your first shake won't be what you are be expecting. It tastes more earthy and nothing like you've ever tasted. I wouldn't call it bad, definitely not, but yeah it takes some time to get used to. Mixability is also an issue, however it's a plant protein so it's not gonna blend well with water. However, all these issues subside when you notice how gentle it is on your stomach.. Incredible!!

After using this for 3 months I feel I have a rounded opinion of the taste. I prefer unflavoured to keep things simple though initially, the taste was quite noticeable and took a little time to get used to. Now I find that I quite enjoy it, as well as the slightly grainy texture, and with the right balance of fruits, I find it's nicely complimentary. So whilst I really like this one, hence the 5 stars, I've acknowledged the work required to get there, as well as the potential texture issue for some, by giving 4 stars to the remaining attributes. As for effectiveness, I've only just started my fitness journey so can't say - but 80g of protein per 100g is pretty great. Goes Well With: My smoothie preference for this is: Spinach, grapes, blueberries, mango, passion fruit, apples, apple juice, water, ginger, milled flax, oats and chia, and some spirulina.

Seriously consider before purchasing
10 May 2024

I bought the Salted Caramel pea protein recently and HAD to leave a review to warn others! It does not mix well. At all. I shook the mixture well (more than usual) and you can feel the difference in texture from the protein mix and water. It's very grainy. Also, it actually tastes a bit like peas? And has a horrible artificial taste to it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Will likely have to get rid as cannot stand the taste at all. Goes Well With: NOTHING.

Tastes OK when mixed in appropriate proportions. My pack said
2 October 2023

Tastes OK when mixed in appropriate proportions. My pack said 1.25 scoops and 200-300ml, which made a thick paste (I had to eat it with a spoon like a disgusting angel delight). Weighed it on digital scales, though, and found 1 scoop to be the right size for 30g portion. That and 300ml water makes a good milkshake consistency to down. Much easier to digest than whey and a lot cheaper than the Maximuscle cyclone I used previously. Not used long enough to judge results yet. Nutritional content of the soya is impressive, though. I'm stacking it with the creatine from Iron Labs, plus their T5 extreme, as you don't get any of the extra things inside this basic powder.
