Peak Design - Field Pouch - Charcoal

Almost unusably small - unless that’s what you’re looking for at this price point. Flexible inside pockets on the inside are a great idea but highly limited by interior space. For camera gear, capacity is approx 1 small camera body and (unattached) small prime lens (ie Sony A6x00 + 50mm), or one medium sized/zoom lens (no body) is stretching this pouch’s payload capacity. Really would be best for accessories only, a few filters/batteries/etc, especially if you still plan on folding over the top as it’s designed to close. Belt loops are helpful, PD attachment points are clever but seem overkill unless you’ve got a spare strap: you’d probably want connected to your camera, and this very likely isn’t big enough to carry it in a useful form (ie with lens attached). ... MoreAlmost unusably small - unless that’s what you’re looking for at this price point. I'm trying out the field pouch this week for the first time. The quality feels good, which I expect from Peak Design. It fit what needed-small camera with a small lens attached, pixel buds, and a few other carry around essentials. I could have fit more, but I like the compact feel. I do wish it had a magnetic closure rather than only the Velcro, but the closure does feel secure. I opted for version 1 since I already own two Peak Design straps. So far, I'm happy with the purchase.

Of course I’ve heard about their stuff, and despite having way too many organizers already, I figured I’d finally try something of theirs since this was a screaming deal.I’m very pleased. I guess I lean toward more outdoorsy styles, and I thought I’d find this a bit professional, but in hand, I have to say it strikes a great balance.The design is clever. Between various folds and pleats, plus the Velcro adjustable top, you can smash a lot in and expand, or slim it down and be more compact. Interior pockets give you organization if you want but get out of the way well if you don’t.The quality seems impeccable.
