I'm not a competitive cyclist in harsh environments, but this product secures the phone on the bike bar like a one-piece part. I cannot imagine how the phone will fall off if the bike doesn't roll over or flip upside down.

I'm not a competitive cyclist in harsh environments, but this product secures the phone on the bike bar like a one-piece part. I cannot imagine how the phone will fall off if the bike doesn't roll over or flip upside down.
I recently upgraded my bicycle to a speedster. I couldn’t use my old phone holder on the bike as it was too thick and large. This was perfect. It’s in discrete, agile and easily movable. I also carry wireless mics with me and record while riding in this is me capturing the scenery while recording a blast definitely a must have any cyclist.
Simple to install! I mounted mine so the bracket faces back toward me and centered over the bike stem vs out front. The mount comes pre-installed with the 31.8 mm handle bar sleeve so no need to exchange with the other 2 included options!
Proof that simple can be best. This is solid, well built, and exactly right in every way I can find. So impressed.
This is a very well designed and solidly built bicycle accessory. The quick release mounting system allows your cellphone (which needs to be equipped with Peak Design Mobile case or adapter) to be mounted securely on the handlebar and taken off easily. When you want to film your ride, simply loosen the bolt and flip the product 90 degree. The package comes with 3 pairs of adjusting rings of different dimensions that can adapted to most of bicycle handlebars.
Great mount…I went with the PD Mobile line for my new phone instead of the competitors, as every component has a slim profile whether in use or not. This mount is solid…phone snaps in easily, and the large buttons work well for releasing.Unfortunately, Altitude shipped me an open-box item (must have been a return), and I had to check carefully that everything was in the box and not damaged. Only the hex key was missing, so I didn’t go through the hassle of returning it, as stock seems to be an issue. I was disappointed with Altitude in this regard, but I am very happy with the mount itself.

Peak Design always makes great stuff, this is no exception. Very sturdy and more or less immovable once it’s mounted. The case snaps onto it without any effort or fiddling.
