I can't say enough about this bag. Every aspect of it is top notch, and you can see the quality with every detail of the bag. This bag can hold a ton of gear, has various strap configurations, has some internal and external pockets, and cool safety features. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. And, it looks super sleek to boot!

There?s seriously nothing else like this bag anywhere. It?s so versatile. Took it on a 2 week trip to Italy. Rolled the top down so it would be small enough for carryon. On arrival, expanded it and put the 2nd carryon inside. The hip straps are genius and help offload weight. It also has a lifetime warranty, which no one can match. Highly recommend it.

Lots of space to load your stuff and has the flexibility of expanding it if you need more space. You can also use the included cinch straps to shrink the bag to carry-on approved size for flights. But, there's not a ton of organization built into the bag. So, I'd be prepared to invest into some packing cubes if you haven't already.

Score is almost 5 but it lacks padding on the Bottom that would have made it a perfect 5 ! cool thing is the add on cubes and pins that secures it .and the fact that I finally I can put my monopod inside the bag without being Noticed. I find this bag to be the perfect mixed between camera gear and clothing with traveling assurance that nothing was left off ! it has great potential future wise for cool upgrades and more innovative thinking
I recently purchased this bag for an 18 day trip to Europe. Not necessarily a full-fledged backpacking trip but I wanted a bag that was hands-free to navigate crowded airports, train stations, walks to hotels, etc. For this purpose the PD duffelpack is perfection. I used with PD packing cubes - it will fit (2) mediums, (2) smalls, (1) shoe pouch and (1) wash pouch. All of of my stuff was organized and wrinkle free. The hideaway backpack straps are also really great. Fantastic bag.
Pros: I purchased this bag because I am renewing all my camera gar and wanted to combine walking with photography, the bag is cavernous, well-made although I'm not sure how long the inner pocket zip will last but the rest of the construction is good. The way it is zipped, and zip side sits against ones back is also a good design.When the bag is put on the floor it has a sound water proof base. This is not a carry on bag for those flying it is not designed to be and is too big for most airlines.Cons: It comes with no dividers and this is an extra cost, the cubes also at extra costs mean that you end up with that bag in bag effect which is clumsy. The is padding of the bag is minimal, about 6mm on the base. It will need extra padding to afford good protection which ... I've tried almost all of the Peak Design bags. This is probably my favorite. It's a nice big size for all of your clothes plus gear. The handles everywhere make it really convenient to just grab and go. I use it for "local" trips where I'm driving (snowboarding, camping, etc.).Though Peak Designs is careful to call this a check-in size bag, I'm pretty sure that if you underpack it a bit, it would work fine in the overhead (huge disclaimer on that statement).My only complaints are 1. I wish the bag would stay open more easily when empty, and 2. I wish there was some kind of integrated laptop sleeve somewhere. Then I could really use this as my one carry bag.But all in all, this is a reasonably priced, easily overlooked item in Peak Design's product line.
I bought this for a Cinematography bag. Holds everything I need it to: camera accessories, batteries and chargers, small monitor, filters, gaff tape, cinefoil, audio gear, I can strap my boom pole to the handle. It's a monster.Nicely constructed. I don't feel that this thing is going to start unraveling anytime soon.
From the expandable nature of this pack to the great new camera cube and travel cube systems, this duffelpack checks multiple boxes for a working photographer. I like that I can fill it with clothes or camera gear or both. Great purchase!
it is well made with durable material. Water proof and stylish. It's too bad that there is restriction and I can't travel anywhere for a while. Can't wait to try them. I also bought packing cubes and everything fits perfectly in there. It makes everything so easy to find. I have the feature that you can expand it or just leave it as it as as a daily bag. Absolutely love it!!!
