Pearl at it's best. They are very comfortable from the wide suspenders to the excellent chamois. I've put in many 30 to 60 mile rides with some lasting for most of the day that include refreshment and fueling stops with friends. The side pockets work. After a few rides I was comfortable knowing that my phone wasn't going to fall out. They are well worth the money and were great on RAGBRAI.

I bought theses for a 4-day bike trip largely because of the leg pockets. I haven't use them yet, but the shorts fit great and are comfortable. The pad feels thick when first putting them on, but is great once on the saddle. The material provides good compression on the legs. The one drawback is the bib upper is made of regular spandex material rather than mesh, I find they can feel sweaty, Sizing is true.

I’ve spent too much time looking into “cargo bibs” and returned two from different brands. These are great, and at the $88 sale price, an excellent value. Nice chamois and fabric and laser-cut straps. Pockets work well.

The straps are flat laser-cut fabric that I don't feel at all when underway. The inseam is fashionably long and have the right fit a few inches above knee. The chamois is seamless and has a good density and thickness. Fabric is a little heavier and tougher than many other bibs, which I like for abrasion and snag resistance and overall durability. The side pockets are made of the same material rather than mesh as found on many other cargo bibs. I find mesh can snag and tear more easily. They also have a gusseted bottom for better fit when there are items in them. I tried the Rapha bibs from REI and the ... MoreNice quality and features and fits me well. The seams that run through the back where the integrated back pocket will require a base layer otherwise it digs. The chamois, unfortunately, barely covers my sit bones and if I shift around then my sit bones are exposed. Up front, there's plenty of chamois which bunches up like a diaper. I wish I'd figured this out before taking the tags off and taking them out for a day. A short ride (21 miles) was barely tolerable in this, but I will not wear this if I have a choice. This was a disappointing purchase considering I have both a PRO and a cold weather bib from Pearl Izumi and both of those are rock stars.
The bib feels good. There’s only one thing, it’s made for long rides and on long rides you need to pee sometimes. Thee belly is too high so you have two choices, undress or stretch one of the legs… both not recommendable.Next time I choose one with a lower belly.
Bought these because I trust the brand from past purchases I The fit was spot on , loved the material, colors were great . Unfortunately the chamois looked a little short . After comparing them too all my other shots I found them to be 1-2 inches shorter. After several uncomfortable rides they are going back . 5’10 160lbs I’m not big .
Can't wait to wear these. Fit as usual with PI is great and the three pockets will be great for long rides on holiday in Majorca. Had my eyes on these for a while, so pleased to get them for a discounted end of season price.
I liked the overall material and initial comfort but I will be returning after 1 ride. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem but the non-flat seam down the front would have caused some uncomfortable chaffing for me right where no one wants it. I also struggled with the shape of the chamois/padding. It just never felt right on my saddle. After 30 minutes I knew it wasn’t going to be for me.
