I recently tried Pears Body Wash and I'm quite impressed. The fragrance is refreshing and pleasant without being overpowering which makes for a delightful shower experience. The texture of the body wash is smooth and lathers well providing a luxurious feel. After using it my skin feels clean hydrated and soft definitely a positive post-effect. Overall it's a great addition to my skincare routine.

Having never purchased Pears before, I was slightly reluctant to try the body wash. I think this is mainly due to the very traditional packaging as I usually veer towards the more contemporary, vibrant packaging. (Shallow, I know). Clearly I was judging the book by its cover as the contents of this bottle has no bearing to its exterior jacket. It was a lovely product to use; gently foaming, very light to use and attractively scented. It left my skin squeaky clean, fresh and ready to face the day. Its also a good family all rounder and I would definitely buy this again. I must go back to the packaging; it doesn't fit with the more modern branding that I have in my bathroom. Is it time for a re-brand Pears, or stick to your traditional looks? Regardless, this is a ... MoreHaving never purchased Pears before, I was slightly reluctant to try the body wash. I was searching for a budget-friendly body wash for winters and I guess I found one. So I have been using this body wash for the last 20 days and I think it is a pretty much good body wash especially for winters. Its a good size bottle for a body wash that is under Rs100. I have been using pears soap for years but this is my first time trying the body wash. It is a decent body wash, Works perfectly on sensitive skin, the fragrance is also not too strong or too little and it's not too foamy which I personally like. (it does foam but not too much like they show in ads)

I recently tried Pears body wash with lemon extract and its a nice body wash but i probably wouldn't use again unless i saw it on offer in the shops. The lemon scent whilst using is quite strong amd sweet smelling, which reminded me of lemon sherbert. This i wasn't too keen on, however upon drying i was left with a subtle lemon fragrance. The body wash lathered up really well and a little went a long way (I was using a shower puff). This didn't dry out my skin.I didn't feel it impressed me or had anything different to offer over other body washes. The bottle and green gel was nice looking.
Pears has long been a family favourite, more of a tradition in our house - like a right of passage to girly face washing as you grow up. So all that goodness in shower gel couldn't be bad right? And it wasn't! Lovely, light fragrance, good lather, doesn't dry skin at all. In short, no faults. The crunch question for me though is would I go out and buy this over and above any other shower gel as we do with the soap bar? I'm not sure, it didn't stand out as so dramatically different enough so probably only if it was on offer.
Learning of the new Pears Soap Free Body Wash, I was intrigued to give it a try. Memories from my youth of the bars of soap made by Pears, as a simple brand that delivered without all the bells and whistles of fancy packaging etc, and I am not disappointed in the body wash. It remains sleek, simple and uncomplicated in both appearance and product - it would not look out of place in the bathroom of a plush hotel! Despite being soap free (must also be better for the environment), it produces a good lather with a mild botanical aroma that is not overpowering. The packaging is practical and easy to open, with the gel itself of a good consistency to remain in your hand (or on a shower sponge) whilst applying to your body. Your skin is left feeling refreshed and smooth. ... MoreLearning of the new Pears Soap Free Body Wash, I was intrigued to give it a try. Pears pure and gentle body wash is a delight to the senses. I’m always slightly worried that anything with a lemony scent is going to smell a bit industrial but I think the lemon flowers extract makes this body wash both beautifully floral and refreshing at the same time. Although as you lather this the suds aren’t that moisturising, it’s hours later you realise your skin is still soft and supple. Its an item very welcome in our shower as it’s unisex qualities mean the usual two items can be condensed into one, even better when we’re off on our travels. Definitely one for the basket again and again.
So I got my package through the post and was so excited to use it! I opened it and had a smell and it is beautiful! The packaging and colour is nice and definitely what you would expect from Pears. The top (push button to open body wash) opened easily and was not stiff unlike some other brands I’ve used, I this found it very was easy to use .When in the shower I opened it again and had a smell and I honestly love the smell. When applying to my skin it gives you a good lather and you feel clean and fresh after use. Ive just returned from holiday 2 days ago so my skin is a bit more sensitive than normal and I had no thightness or sensitive skin tingles that I had when using another branded body wash, after use my skin felt soft and smooth. It smells lovely, has an pale green colour to it and it really does leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. The scent lingers pleasantly. All in all a great body wash and one I'd definitely get again.A bottle that everyone in the house can use as neither too feminine or masculine, just a clean citrusy smelling body wash. (All I need to do now is hide it from the rest of my family as they are using instead of their own washes! However, as its around £2 thats fine!)A little goes a long way so the 250ml bottle looks like it will last me for ages. Overall it's a cracking shower product with a lovely light citusy smell! I will be looking at the rest of the range to truly layer the scents
Given the reputation of pears I was looking forward to using this product. I have to say i have been quite disappointed with the product. The packaging appears flimsy and cheap. When the bottle is wet it's quite hard to keep a hold of as the plastic seems to crumple in your hand. The product smells nice but reminds me of a toilet cleaner scent rather than a zesty citrus smell. The product lathers well and a little goes a long way. There didn't seem to be any lasting smell after washing like you get with other brands nor did my skin feel soft or moisterised after use. It's effective as a simple body wash but if luxury is what you're after this isn't the product for you.
