Pears Pure & Gentle Transparent Soap 100g

I suffered with mild acne but it was enough to stop me going out and socialising. I tried clean and clear and lots of other products. I thought I would try pears soap as I heard it was good. I have been using this product for one week all my old spots have healed and I have not had one new break out. I am going out with friends this evening and that is all thanks to this amazing product.

I bought this to try on my face as an alternative to facewash because I do not like the plastic packaging of liquid facewash and also because with a soap bar I would not have to put it in the liquids bag during air travel.I am very glad I tried it on my hands first! If you like to be absolutely squeaky clean then this is probably the soap for you. However, I washed my hands with it once and after drying them my hands felt so dry I had to put moisturiser on them (I have oily skin, not dry) as they felt dry and wrinkled. The smell of this soap was so dreadful even after using scented moisturiser that I had to go wash my hands 4 times with regular scented liquid soap and I can still smell this soap and my hands feel stripped and horrible. I am so glad I did not try this on my face! Stuck it straight in the kitchen bin sealed in a plastic bag to reduce the smell. The bar is good quality though and lathers nicely and I'm sure was probably the best thing available when first invented 200yrs ago, however there are now far better and more pleasant ways of removing your make-up than this.

I got this by pure chance. I was looking for a good cleanser for my acne prone skin. I am so happy I found this. I love it, cleans the skin so well. Will definitely recommend and repurchase. There is also another option to get this in green. Not sure what is the difference. Cheap too!
