Peco Power Feed Joiners For C100 C12
These new Power Feed Joiners will help address the worries of soldering that many modeller's have; they're safe, clean and tidy way of bringing power to the track. Supplied in packs of four pairs, each joiner has a short length of wire securely pre-soldered to it. The modeller just has to substitute the standard metal joiners for a pair of these where the power feed is required, and pass the wires down through pre-drilled holes in the baseboard. With approximatley 8 inches (204mm) of wire on each one there should be plenty of length available to go through most baseboards. In turn these wires can be connected to longer runs of wiring under the baseboard and be taken back to the outlet terminals of the transformer. Of course PECO can also supply the wire and cable connecting blocks to complete the set-up. It is what it says in the advert, they work. Many people don't recommend powered joiners/fishplates (of any make) BUT they are easier than soldering directly to the rails.

Great little product. Small, neat, a simple and easy way to connect your power to the track whilst also connecting the track. Suitable for analogue DC or digital DCC. These are track fishplates with short lengths of wire already connected, and they do the job perfectly. No connectivity issues, and the wire is secure enough. The wire is not overly long, so you may need to attach another length of wire to run away to a transformer or bus or board. But these are so much neater than the Hornby powertrack or powerclips. Will be nigh invisible under ballasting and scenics, and the wire can either be run away to the side, or dropped through a small drilled hole in the baseboard. Recommended.

These prewired rail connectors really do make life easy. My soldering is not the best and these are a great idea. I will be purchasing more.
There was a misunderstanding regarding the track code. They were described as code 100 but were for code 75 track. An easy mistake. However I made them work for me. Peco products as always are first class

It is rated for Code 100 track but very hard to attach. Secondly when soldering connector I did attach you have to be very careful about unsoldering attached wire and thirdly the wire lengths are unsatisfactory.
It has has performed well with my model railway track, very pleased.
needed to add extra feeder wires to my switching layout. After soldering extra wires to these they slid in place with a good snug fit and made switching much more fun and reliable. Built sturdy for long service and color coded to boot. WE GOT OURSELVES A WINNER!!!
