A very solid, small, waterproof case. As soon as you pick it up it feels like quality. The snap clips work perfectly creating a waterproof closure. It has a rubber surround in the lower part and a foam loose (removable) filling in the upper section. I use it to store small audio parts (lavalier microphones etc.). I can't think of a lot of use for photographers as one could only place small cables in it or lens caps, filters. Most photography parts would be too big. However for the price it is well worth looking at.

I have 2 cases. The opening on the first chipped badly after a year. This was from opening the case not dropping it. The other has been used for 8 years. It was dropped in water last week and found that it is NOT waterproof! I think the lining has a limited lifetime. My camera is ruined (even after putting it in rice for 2 weeks.) I won't buy another one. BTW Pelican's warranty doesn't protect the contents.

Well made, sturdy, excellent quality. This is not my first time buying from this company. All products are great and this makes no exception.
My small digital camera fits perfectly inside it. The case fits comfortably in my PFD pocket . My camera stays dry and accessible while I am paddling. It works.
Case is not made of steel, only metal are the pins in the hinges. Case is all plastic with a rubber liner. Only one single compartment, not multiple as described. No inserts to create separate compartments, no foam to cut to shape. Will not work for storage of memory cards or flash drives which is what it was purchased for.

This small but very well made tough case has a set of 12 CR123A titanium Innovation batteries nicely secured and dry in the foam insert, all kept well preserved until ready to load in any of my great flashlights provided by the caring staff of Battery Junction. This Pelican case actually got run over by my car in the garage. Complete accident but a testament to how durable these things are. The case survived without any cracks and works as new, incredible.
Sturdy protection for your small items (batteries, SD cards, etc.) or gears (ear buds, usb disks, etc.). Can also be used for travel casing for pocket digital cameras (especially in the canon s120s ranges).
I have 3 of these and use them for various reason. The first one was purchased in order to keep batteries organized in my bug out and range bag. As others had noted there are inserts that hold 15 but due to needing the pelican case as well as the inserts, I found this a good deal.The case is tough and waterproof as advertised. This not only keeps the lithium batteries dry, but organized and keeps them from being loose and possibly dangerous in your bag. I also have one in the truck and use it to secure my phone and keys while creek fishing. Never a drop of water in the case. I trust Pelican for my weapons as well.
