You can easily attach the micro case almost anywhere. For semi-permanent installation, the slots on both ends can be used with webbing or zip ties. The cases can quickly be attached to things with the included carabiner.I've got a couple of these holding spare lamps for my halogen fresnel lights. I can clip the case to the light's yoke knowing the physical protection is sufficient at the level of handling care needed for the light's glass lenses and that the lamps will be kept clean, dry, and ready the moment I need them.

If like myself you smash cellphone screens on your adventures, this will pay for itself in a matter of weeks.I find it difficult to get too excited about a blue plastic box but essentially with a small piece of sleeping mat foam inside my cellphone is more than excited.Very lightweight, compact and incredibly tough, I know that how the box has been treated I would be $100 down for a new phone screen.Comes with 3 points of attachment for safety and used whilst kayaking I was able to have the clear side up and see if any calls were coming in.Thoroughly recommend and though it seems pricey, will pay for itself very quickly.

The storage box itself is of standard Pelican quality. No complaints. The carabiner that was attached to it, however, is a piece of junk. The carabiner's clasp doesn't even close because something is wrong with the spring and the material is about as light and cheap as they could buy.
