I love Elisabethan Rose by Penhaligon's. First of, the packaging is very pretty to look at, and the juice itself is absolutely gorgeous. This is a very rose centred fragrance for women. It has Hazelnut, Tangerine, May Rose, Rose Oil, Rose, Blackcurrant, Woody Notes and Violet. It's slightly sweet, subtle yet alluring also last for hours. I'd say it's one of my favourites from the brand, very romantic and enchanting. It's like you're in the middle of an enchanted garden full of dark red roses. It's youthful, pretty and overall pleasant.

The Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose Eau de Parfum is so strong and overbearing initially after applying it. Afterwards, the scent slowly tones down. It does not have a nice scent for my body chemistry. It smells artificial. After a while it becomes unbearable. It really does not smell like a rose. The woody and musk scent overpowers the rose scent along with the top note of the hazelnut taking center stage. I would not purchase this one for myself since it was overpowering for me and did not smell good at all.

The main heart note is a rose, but it is not overpowering or overwhelming. The fragrance is rich and complex, a delicate mix of several notes in just right, well-balanced proportions. The parfum is light, soft and gentle, will be great for daytime or special occasions. It is sophisticated and elegant, classy and timeless. The parfum is very feminine and romantic, perfect for the spring and summer. I’m absolutely happy with Penhaligon’s Elisabethan Rose Eau de Parfum and will definitely recommend!

This perfume smells so good. It has a very light smell that isn't too overpowering or strong. I have a very sensitive nose and this didnt bother me at all. I sprayed it on my wrists initially to get a sniff and just kept smelling my wrist. It has notes of roses but not a overly flowery smell. This perfume is perfect for any occasion. It's one of those you notice on other people but in a good way. I wish I had more of it to use. It was just so nice and elegant smelling. The only thing I wished was that it lingered more on my skin and clothing. After a while it tended to fade but overall it is an amazing scent.

Wow! This perfume is incredible. The moment I sprayed it on my skin and smelled it, it took me to a place of happiness and warmth. The scent is super fresh and floral, the rose note really sticks out, I feel like I'm in a field with rose bushes all around. It's a very feminine and mature perfume that to me can be worn anytime day or night. The scent lasts for a long time too, which is a huge plus. I've worn this perfume while running errands and got quite a few compliments. Very beautiful perfume that I will definitely be adding to my collection.
