i bought my 2007 Subaru Tribecca sbout 2 months ago and a radiator hose came off. Called NRMA and they fixed it and told me it had wrong coolant. I purchased Penrite coolant and my car runs perfectly at halfway on temperature gauge.

Didn’t know at all the history of the coolant in the truck so flushed out with x2 Penrite Demineralised Water 5L as the system capacity is 7.4L and then x2 Penrite Blue OEM Approved Coolant Premix 5L.
It’s OEM product I think and so I bought it. It seems affordable price for blue BMW coolant. They can cost you an arm and a leg but this premix version is enough to fill my BMW cooling system and affordable. Does the job with good quality ingredients that don’t contain silicate, borate, phosphate and other bad stuff. Car is still driving and no cooling issues so far. Fingers crossed!
Nice light blue colour. Keeps the needle at optimum temperature. Using this in a 97 civic with 330k kms.
This product is supposed to last 500 000 km after a flush so I'm not sure what value this review is going to be at present but it smells like coolant and my car hasn't gone over temp since performing a full system flush and replacing it with this stuff so I guess that's a plus. Just check the oem replacement fine print - it's for certain European vehicles only (not Subaru which is what I bought it for).
Decent brand - decent product.Probably opt for the concertrate next time as it's better in value.
