Looks like dot 5.1, tastes like dot 5.1 and smells like it as well. Also, it makes the brakes work which is a bonus.
I performed a complete brake bleed using this. I'd like to be as deluded as some You-Goobers and say "she has more horsepower now" or "wow the shifts are much smoother" but its only brake fluid. It works great, I almost got the missus to kiss the windscreen when I took it for a test drive and mashed the brake pedal. Apparently I'm sleeping on the couch again.
Penrite dot 5.1 brake fluid meets the technical requirements for Volvo V40 brake systems. "No substitution allowed" is on the Penrite product selector.Little else to say about the product, other than it is fit for purpose. It is rather expensive compared to super dot 4 500mls at $30 a bottle.
Top Quality dot 5.1 brake fluid but too expensive compared to other Repco options and Supercheap. Dot 5.1 spec is same standard regardless of brand.
