In the past I have been able to purchase this oil in a 10 litre container as I require 9.2 ltrs.7 litre container is not good to me as I am have to purchase 2 and I am left with 5 litres that is most likely contaminated by the time I get to use it so it is wasted. I am not prepared to take the risk on a 30k engine. So in the future I will not purchase from you if you do not stock the product in a 10 litre container.

I purchase Penrite oil Australian family owned and produced. I buy my oils from Supercheap and take it to the service centre to be installed and they are happy to do that for us.

Good quality oil but pricey when not onsale. Recommend product for use on turbo diesels fitted with DPF with no issues whatsoever.

Bought this oil for my BMW 320 Turbo Diesel. Need 6 litres and so this 7 litre pack is ideal and fits my diesel. Was a good price too, given all oils have sky rocked in price.
As I am not a chemical of petroleum engineer, my “review” on this product will be limited and in a way almost worthless as too are all the other consumer oil reviews. This is another “premium” oil brand that blends oils and additives to achieve the minimum engineering and manufacturing standards. No different to Valvoline or Nulon or Gulf to name a few.I have not sent my engine oil to a lab when the vehicle was new, nor have I sampled the oil continually to establish a trend, I have not monitored idle time, fuel burn, hours, KMs, cold start / stop counts, DPF regenerations or average load factor. I have however changed the oil between 6000 - 8000 kms depending on my gut feel based the mentioned conditions above. I have however changed the oil between 6000 - 8000 kms depending on my gut feel based the mentioned conditions above. Manufacturer service interval is 15,000 kms.I have also installed a magnetic drain plug and in the first 30,000kms I have not had a single spec of Ferris material or sludge.Oil brands have been a mix of Penrite, Nulon and whatever the dealership is using.Due to modern Diesel engines having a lot more going on with a lot more chance of contamination, it’s worth noting I have used an engine oil flush treatment once and a DPF system cleaner once and a foaming intake cleaner twice in the cars first 30,000kms
I change the oil in our VZ Commodore at lease twice a year as we do 20,000 km or more. I have an Alloytec motor and you have to change the oil every 10,000 km to keep the thing happy (carbon build up & timing chains if you don't). I've been using Penrite for years and never had a failure. I also use Penrite in my 572 BBC (9.5 litres for post decimal people) different grade though!
Definitely oil. Makes things all slippery inside the engine. Very good thing to have. Shame the size was reduced from 10L
My engine seemed to sound noisier with this oil, went back to using Mobil, also Supercheap need to sell this in 10 liter containers, most diesel engines take well over 7 liters, Also what's with the 180 degrees flash point, most good oils are well over 200
I know Penrite oil is a quality product. Have been using the 15w40 +10 in my 2002 3 ltr diesel Hilux for over 10years now has 467 000 km and not showing any signs of smoke or oil consumption. That’s why I now choose c3 5w30 in my new landcruiser.I live in Darwin that’s why I run 5w30 instead of 0w30.10ltr container in this would be preferred though !
The packaging including the unnecessary funnel reduces the volume from 10 to 7 litres making it necessary to purchase 3 drums instead of 2 to get 20 litres. If this product claims to be environmentally friendly the packaging should be reviewed and volume returned to 10 litres
