It features a DOUBLE LAYER of engine wear protection with FULL ZINC and Penrite's advanced EXTRA TEN technology. Penrite HPR 10 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines. It is particularly suited for use under high load conditions such as towing and competition or where ambient temperatures are high. It uses a combination of the latest additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier, to ensure additional protection against wear, corrosion, oil oxidation, piston deposits and sludge under all conditions. HPR 10 exceeds the latest API SN/CF requirements, as well as many manufacturers' specifications. Using in my Turbo 2.4 litre Volvo with 200,000klms on the clock, engine runs smooth n clean, also using in two Ford Territories i thrash hard, again, engines clean n running smoother, flows well in all my cars and engines revving hard love extra protection in very hot conditions, i also tow so great knowing my motors are protected under hard revs often. Motors have never been cleaner and run smoother. Great price so i bought 10 x 10 litre drums for yrs ahead.

I've been using HPR10 in my BA XR8 since I bought it @ 153000 Ks, Now at 526000 Ks & engine is still quiet, smooth & goes hard. Still don't have to top up between changes. I now use Penrite in all our cars & the bike. This oil really looks after an engine no matter the conditions or driving style. It's great stuff - & Aussie made too!
I have a 19yo Ford five litre V8 which I have only used HPR10. When I bought the car, the owner had been using another brand and their was a little rattle on cold start. I ran a Penrite flush through it, replaced the filter and put 5.5L of HPR10. problem solved straight away. Many friends use HPR and everybody swears by it. The Australian aspect is such a bonus these days with so much product from o/s. Well done Penrite, excellent value when bought in large volume and all other products I have used are also top notch.

This would have been a 5 star rating but the Castrol Edge 10/60 " Edge " did a better job ! Penrite is an outstanding oil company and normally my first choice as their oils have solved many oil related faults with older " Problem Cars " with there high quality oils . In this instance the Castrol flowed very considerably better on cold starts after sitting overnight particularly in winter , building oil pressure nearly instantly where the Penrite took up to 5 or more seconds . This indicates to me that the Castrol is a much more refined oil and a " Truer " Synthetic . It is not a 100% Fair comparison as the Castrol is a 10/60 and the Penrite a 10/50 which in it self shows a more refined product .
Great engine oil and so good when Repco have it on special. I particularly like the staff at your Gregory Hills store. Always so friendly and helpful.
Buying a car almost hitting 200k mileage and if buying from private seller, often they won't have record and won't know which oil was used.I wanted to use synthetic but wondered if 10w30 or 40 would be little too thin if previous owner ran mineral oil.So Penrite 10w50 was my choice and car has done 35,000kms since bought, fuel economy, running all is nice and smooth.
been using this oil in a few of my cars now with no issues1996 nissan blue bird 2.4L na1994 nissan 180sx sr20det turbo with fully forged bottom end2003 mitsubishi mirage 1.5l na2000 subaru wrx gc8 ej205 turbo2006 suzuki swift 1.5l naso far all have ran great on this oil with no issues highly recommend all these cars have had 150,000 or more kms anything under that ide recommend using hpr 5 instead
