I've been doing a few water crossings & long puddle stretches of driving & I noticed my front wheel bearing had play during a routine 5K service. Pulled the free wheeling hub off & the was water droplets in there & the grease was discoloured, went further & there was water droplets inside the hub & inside the swivel hub joint. Half a day later, a bin full of water contaminated grease & paper towels, two tubs of Penrite moly grease, 58 pairs of surgical gloves & countless rags I had new bearings in & the swivel hubs repacked with grease. No more bashing through puddles and spraying water 30 meters high.
This grease is definitely grease. It did the job I needed it for. Still have 99% of it left for next time.
Using on my 4wd to lube superpro bushings. Other grease washed off after 4wding in wet conditions. Was easy to apply and seems to be working. Also Use PTFE teflon tape on any bushing pin to avoid squeaking.
If your out of grease supplied with your suspension purchase then...This isthe Right stuff to use on Whiteline suspension Bushes...
Always a good product I prefer Penrite to anything else when I want to be nice to my car.
Quality product at a good price. Moly grease has may uses and unlike others Ive had in the past, I will actually find uses for this. Not totally convinced by Penrite products and I was looking for the equivalent Valvoline product, but this had the qualities I was looking for and its tacky so it stays on.
Excellent for polyurethane bushes. More then you’ll need.
