I bought this to remove rust and crap that's built up in my block and radiator / radiator hoses. I followed the instructions and still filthy as anything. I even spent a decent amount of time flushing everything individually to really get my engine and radiator cleam. Only thing that came out clean was the water after the water after 15 minutes of "cleaning". Made no difference, waste of fuel, waste of money, waste of time.

I have a 1986 VL commodore, the cooling system does have slight sludge build up and dirt/rust particles.. I use the product as instructed and further ran the vehicle an extra 15 minutes, the water came out clear, no dirt or rust particles.. I then reflushed the system and using compressed air along with a wire to break through any dirt, this did a better job than the penrite radiator flush. Save your money and flush your radiator with water and a an air compressor instead, this product did not loosen any contaminants. Worth to note it does up to a 15 litre coolant system, mine is a 10.5 litres capacity.

I had to flush my Nissan X-Trail T30 cooling system due to some leakage in the engine and oil mix with coolant made system temperature going up and fluctuate. Used the Penrite and flushed as instructed, temperature fluctuation stopped. Hope it didn't damage any sensitive parts such as rubber and teflon seals and bushes.
Bought two of these. The first I ran for the specified time (10ish mins) and it cleaned some of the crud. On the second bottle I left the car running without a thermostat for 30minutes and then cool down for another hour. This made a huuuuge difference.Moral of the story, run it for at least 30 without a thermostat or perhaps 45 with it still installed if your system is pretty bad.

I bought this product after it being recomended by store manager. I have a Volvo C304 with Brass radiator and heater cores and cast iron head and block. I tried a little on the crud left inside my wash bottle before putting into my system. It does not work. I left it in the washer bottle for an hr and it removed or dissolved nothing. This product is a total waste of money and the only thing it will flush is money down the toilet. I am going to try another product.
I bought 2 bottles and followed instructions to mix correctly the ratios with water to use to flush out my outboard motor in a continuous loop using an electric pump to remove scale and corrosion inside the aluminium block but it failed to Acheive what was stated it would do, even after a prolonged time, it was a Total waste of money in my opinion. I later found CLR to actually work correctly
Cleaned Radiator and cooling system well, removed scale and the cooling side of radiator caplooked like new, I would however recommend flushing cooling system after with clean water as this treatment is alkaline and would eat through aluminium if left in
Used this on a cooling system full of brown sludgy liquid and was surprised at how well this product cleaned up the cooling system. Followed the instructions, did an extra clean water flush as this was easy to do and the final one produced crystal clear water. A month later, coolant remains clean
