My Multi-Gym Pro is less than 1 year old and falling apart. Adhesive on cushions not holding up. I had to use liquid nail to re-glue them. Secondarily, the hex screw on the handle is routinely loosening making the construct weak and dangerous. And I’m only 160lbs. Customer Service, where you at?

I purchased this on sale for $30..Honestly, I am impressed with the quality . I am 6ft 225 lbs been in Fitness all my life..This unit holds up fine with multiple uses during the week. No marks , or broken frames. You need to adjust it to your frame correctly and it will work great. For the money , it is a nice piece and will train your back and abs just as well as any of the douchebag local gyms. Home gyms are the way to go these days. I highly recommend this.

The good. Easy assembly. Solid steel construction, 3 different grip locations, foam padding, and adjustable width. No marks on the wall.The bad. The two pieces are connected via a friction dimple located in the middle of the tubing. A bolted connection would be better. The foam grips are wide or narrow for pronated or supinated hand positions. A foam grip for shoulder width is absent.

I bought this a month ago to work on put ups at home. It’s very sturdy sits well in the door frame and has nice foam to keep from scratching the finish on my door. It’s sturdy, has multiple options for holding the bar, and was easy to put together. I reccomend it if you are looking for a pull up bar.
Nothing on the website or on their Amazon page provides enough info on what doorways this will fit. (It is not just a matter of the width of the doorway). I am in an old building with thick walls and tall/wide door jamb trim. It would not fit my doorway. If they had provided that info, I would not have wasted time ordering it, assembllng it, discovering the hard way that it would not fit, and now returning it.
This product really needs to include requisite dimensions for the depth of your doorframe, as well as a disclaimer that it should not be used with crown moulding. The product doesn't fit my doorframe because the frame is too "thick", as others have described in separate reviews. It fits well enough that I may put my weight on it, but I cannot use the safety clip as the inner bar doesn't sit flush with the wall and so it doesn't fit into the channel created by the wall and clip. The curved handlebars have padding in the middle, but if you have crown moulding, the part without padding will dig in and damage the woodwork.It's a shame this doesn't fit in any door frame in my house, as the product is obviously of high quality, if a little on the expensive side. It's durable and has nice options for workouts and adjustments, but unfortunately nothing can be adjusted for thicker doorframes. For reference, my frames are around 8 inches deep — if yours are similar, skip this purchase. And please, add the required depth to the description.
I love it. Please send me more. Having an at home pullup bar is especially essential during a coronavirus lockdown. It's great that you can grab this bar without your hands being smushed against the door frame.I find the grease the groove methos great for pullups. Doing 30-50% of your rep max every 5-15min or even up to an hour to build measurable strength in your pullup. Works for a big guy like me who's put on some unnecessary poundage over the last 2 years.
It's a pretty solid pull up bar. My only problem is that there isn't a foam grip in-between the hammer grib and wide grip, which is the perfect spot for normal pull ups. All in all, not disappointed; make sure your door has enough ledge at the top of the frame to support it though.

well constructed, clever design for a home gym. Took several hours to assemble and install in doorway following the well-written user guide. (Allen wrenches are attached in the rear of the connecting bar)- Someone more mechanically adept would take less time. There are several options to assemble the device that depend on the width and shape of the door frame. Pads keep the device from scratching or marring the door frame. Easily mounted and removed from door.
