Has anyone who bought this pet carrier had the strong plastic smoke smell go away ? Took it out of the packaging and wow. Hoping it goes away.
Brought this carrier about 6 months ago. Mine never had the smell people are talking about. Used it a few times and so easy to use and light.
I bought this for my Pomeranian puppy it’s great quality & size but the smell is so toxic there is no way I could put her in it .. I have placed it outside to air to see if that helps otherwise it will be going back ...
Bought this for our kitten to safely take to her immunisation visits..... But my goodness the smell!! When the vet said cats have a sense of smell 100 times stronger than ours I felt all kinds of guilt from putting her in it.
I bought this to bring my two kittens home in but when I took it out of the packaging the horrible smoke smell was unbearable and there was no way I would put any animal in this carrier it would be inhumane! I ended up returning it as I had to go and purchase one elsewhere. I would definitely not recommend this product.
I read the first review after purchasing the product. I totally agree with their review the plastic smell is unbearably toxic!I hope that it airs as I have already disposed of the packaging!
This thing reeks of chemicals. I don't know how Big W can sell this as suitable for pets.
