The bottle reminds me of lotion bottles from most of our favorite lotion store Application is super simple and is a nice thick white cream. The lotion is not at all runny but isn't so thick that it just sits ontop of my skin. Within moments did my skin absorb everything. Leaving me soft, smooth, and hydrated and not at all greasy! The worst is when you have to wipe the lotion off your hands or you can't hold anything after without risk of dropping, and I had none of those issues! I also try to limit unnecessary ingredients and fragrances are included. Secondly, this lotion absorbs, completely into your skin in seconds leaving zero trace or stickiness. My skin feels incredibly moisturized and stays that way all day. I'm prone to dry, often itchy skin, especially in the winter, and this lotion has completely alleviated all of that. One huge difference with this lotion that I think speaks volumes about the absorption properties, is that when I shower after using this lotion, there is zero residue on my skin. With my usual lotion, as soon as I hop in the shower, I can feel my lotion almost reactivating and there's a notable slick coating that rinses off as I shower. There is zero trace of Perricone's lotion on my skin when I hit the shower, which confirms that this really does absorb to moisturize beyond the surface of my skin. Also, after applying my usual lotion, I often have to wipe my hands off to open my bathroom door because my hands are too slippery but, with Perricone, my hands are amply moisturized and I am still able to grip my doorknob. I wish there were a giant pump bottle available. This is definitely something I'd love to buy in bulk because it's replaced all of my former favorites. It left no greasy or oily residue but absorbed quickly and left my skin soft and smooth. After using it a couple of weeks, the skin on both my hands and arms was definitely rehydrated and appeared smoother and firmer with less crepiness.
