Easy to Self install, just need glacier to cut and supply toughen glass. Generous flap size and wind proof. Our medium Labradoodle uses it with easePostage was quick even during covid times

Doesnt ruin the view

I hated the idea of putting in a dog flap, as we have large french doors and didnt want to get rid of them, or have the view of the garden interrupted. This flap was a pleasant surprise. It isnt as obtrusive as I feared. Very simple to fit Once you get the hole cut in the glass, and simple to use. Biggest issue is security. How to manage that... but I suppose the dog should take care of it

Dog broke locking mechanism

I love having this door as the dog can get in or out, but the locking mechanism is flimsy. Our dog burst right through after stealing a sock and racing at it to escape (successfully) with the sock. The locking mechanism smashed to pieces and I haven't been able to replace it. It is not strong enough to stop a burglar, we use a massive piece of wood over it and jammed in the sliding door section when we go away - so you need to think about how you can make it secure when you and dog aren't there.

Dogcat flap

Flap needed for my 2 cats and shitzu. Flap was installed by my double glazing fitter in a new pane of glass. Excellent product. Looks really good and hardly makes a noise Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Item

The dog door has exceeded all our expectations, we didnt really want to put a dog door into the bi fold doors but without any other space to do this, it was our only option. It meant ordering a new sealed double glazed unit with a 385mm hole in it, but it looks fantastic. We are very pleased and it does not stand out too much. Very easy to fit, good magnetic contact for door closure and good seals.

Flap shows scratch marks easily

Good product. Although the flap is very prone to showing all scratch marks. Which will happen when your dog paws at it to get in. Would benefit from a frosted or such like finish. Otherwise, really good product.

Great product

I wish Id bought this sooner Delivery was quick and once the hole was put into the glass it was easy to fit. It looks great and thankfully my dogs started using it straight away. With the bad weather I was worried about the seals but there wasnt an issue at all. My neighbour has already commented on how great it looks and will be ordering one for themselves.

Limited life

While attractive, speedily delivered, easily installed if you know how to twist a screwdriver, I find that it has about a year of life until my kelpie snaps off the door flap when exiting the house when on alert (all the time). I'd suggest a redesign with a soft plastic or rubber bumper that engages at the top of the swing arc.

Not fit for purpose. Not good enough.

So nearly perfect but ultimately just not fit for purpose. When the flap is locked my dog can simply pop the locks off the unit. Even when we jammed the locks on with a screw, my dog was able to simply push the flap between the locks - I think the flap itself flexes under pressure. I paid a lot to have a new double glazed unit made full door and I regret it as I am now struggling to keep my dog in the house. No good for a smart dog
