Peters Timothy Hay 1kg

My two beautiful girls, Annabelle and Gabriella do like this hay and prefer it over the Peters Timothy and Rye Hay, of which they would, nine times out of ten only ever eat two thirds of it, max, no matter the size of the portion given. They don't, however love it but do miss it when it's gone. WARNINGS! A very high amount of dust hay at the bottom of the bag and medium amount throughout, please don't use it nearing the end and always shake it off before giving it to them, as this can cause severe respiratory infection/s and breathing problem/s. If there was no dust and a tad softer than I would rate it higher.

The best for bunnies and guinea pigs. Low calcium, high fibre, great for teeth and gut motility. Not like other hays and hay based products based on Alfala and lucene which often can cause numerous health problems (is: calcium stones, renal failure, death) feeding regularly past 6 months.Don't take my word for it.Do your own research.

Fantastic Hay

We ran out of our standard Timothy and rye and was offered this hay. I bought one thinking it wouldn’t be as good, but my two piggies were on a high when they smelt it and iv decided to get it as an addition to the Timothy rye which they love to lay on. Couldn’t be happier. As a plus it’s free delivery which we love

Our picky rabbit likes this. The only issue is that it's quite dusty, as mentioned by other reviewers.

Great product, but a lot of dust

My bunnies love this, they eat much more and poop much more. The problem of this product is: a lot of dust from middle and the end of the bag. Why not trying to reduce the dust before packaging it?

Happy with product

It is good quality. There wasnt as many little grassy treats as in the past but this may be because of the weather.

Rabbits are fussy

Rabbits werent fussed about it eaten very little and now we have to dose them for mites and fleas but we do also have lucine and hay but one rabbit she overweight and its good to cut her down thanks

The 2kg comes in 2 1kg bags. I got 4kg (4bags) and was pleasantly surprised. It’s cheaper than the oxbow Timothy I usually get (although Timothy in Australia is crazy expensive) and very green. So far there has been so many flower heads which is great because my Guinea pigs love them. And most of it is very long. Would definitely recommend and am definitely buying again.

My guinea pigs can not get enough of Peter's Timothy Hay! They scoff it down almost quicker than I can replace it!
