My order arrived very quickly. The collar itself fits well, I have a Maltese dog and itâs not too large for him. He has barked a few times and received a squirt and then stops barking straight away instead of continuously barking, which was the problem. I would say this collar is working very well. I like that I can recharge the battery and itâs easy to change the citronella âtanksâ. Good product.

I was being driven mad by my Maltese Shih Tzu barking at anything and everything in the âwitching hourâ - about 6 to 7 each evening. Even though I am averse to punitive training, desperation won out and I tried the Citronella collar. The first time he stopped barking because he was trying to get at the unfamiliar âthingâ under his chin. The next time his puzzlement at the citronella spray was entertaining to watch. I have only put it on a few times since then, and it stops his barking every time. I do have to admit that the action of putting the collar on may be the reason for the cessation of barking. Who cares? The end result is what I wanted. Easy to put on and off as needed.

Bought the collar for our Great Dane. Gorgeous dog until she starts barking then wonât stop, thinking sheâs âprotecting usâ from our neighbours. Sheâs scared of the sound of fly spray, so thought this would be enough to scare the heck out of her to stop. It has helped a bit, she wonât go on and on and on. But will still start barking and barking, to the point that I think this collar may not be the right one for her. Had the collar for about a month with citronella spray.
These collars resulted in an immediate reduction in barking. They have helped our dogs calm down and we are super impressed with them. They donât wear them all day - just key times when we know people are coming - deliveries etc. i can just show them the collars now and they stop barking. Very happy.
I had many complaints for my husky howling when I was leaving home. I bought the collar and installed a camera at my house to see if she is doing fine. I could not believe that only one time was sufficient. She never cried again! Sometimes we even forgot to turn it on and she still wouldnât cry. As for those that may be thinking that the spraying is stressing them, please let me tell you that before she would be crying and stressing until I return whereas now she sleeps peacefully! Also the spraying is activated only the first time(s) and not every time they wear the collar because they stop barking or crying. If it worked for a husky most probably it will work for your dog as well. I cannot thank you enough Bark Control!!!
Just used for one week. My dog behavior is totally changed. No more barking, no more car chasing, no more bicycle chasing, no more bark towards other dog, pedestrian,...... The only problem is the cartridges supplied with the Collar box. Only last for 5-6 sprays and gone. So within 4 days, both cartridges are gone.

I was finding that him having the collar on while I was at work (most of the day) for only 2-3 days per week was using up an entire spray cartridge in only 1-2 weeks. I also noticed that in times of intense stress (such as when there's thunder or storms) the sprays did absolutely nothing to deter him from barking. While I think this is overall a good product, I wouldn't recommend it for particularly stubborn dogs or ones with severe barking issues, as you'll end up spending a lot of money on replacement spray cartridges to potentially just result in having a citronella-smelling dog that still barks. I will be moving onto a shock collar in the hopes that is more effective for my dog.
We were initially worried that this product might not be the best for our little schnauzer, but it has proved to be very effective without hampering his socialising. He has quickly learned that he shouldnât bark when wearing the collar. He wears it for short periods, as per the comprehensive instructions. He is happy for us to put it on, so we are confident that the experience isnât harmful or frightening. A very good training tool.
Our 11 month great dane x lab has responded to this well. We have dogs who visit next door that go crazy at him through the fence. He now does maybe 1 bark and stops at that. He is a bit stubborn so was curious if he would respond. Easy to use, easy to charge. Very happy with this product. The service we received was also fantastic.
