PetSafe brand is here to help you and your pet live happy together .

I received this #complimentary from Tryit.Sampling in exchange that I would give my honest feedback and opinion on what my thoughts are on it. I was so excited whenever I found out that I was getting this 🐈 liter box and I couldn’t wait until I received it. I honestly thought it was going to make my life easier but, it was just the opposite. First off, the design of the litter box and its features, for the most part, are great. Secondly, it doesn’t eliminate the smell 😷 whatsoever and the poop not only gets stuck on the rake part but the litter crystals whined up everywhere’s outside of the pan along with them sticking to the bottom of my cats paws making a bigger mess for me to have to vacuum up. This has been a problem to deal with since the start. I’ve tried to ... I truly thought with it being such an expensive product, not to mention how costly it is for the pan liners and litter. It wasn’t worth having, considering I’m having to change the liner and put fresh litter roughly every 4-5 days just to keep it from smelling. Don’t get me wrong, overall it has great concept but to many flaws that needs addressed and that’s the only reason why I gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. If you can manage to deal with the flaws I’d say purchase it but me personally wouldn’t, not for that outrageous amount.

They resolved the issue quickly and by the end of the day the display was once again working correctly. Also, even though the display had stopped temporarily we were still able to track usage through the app. While we were recently on vacation I was able to use the app to let my pet sitter know when it was time to change the box out. We've definitely been spoiled by this system, especially since we can easily track usage and determine when it's time to change the litter tray. Not having to scoop 2-3 times each day has been a game changer. We'll never go back to regular boxes again.

This is a terrible product. For the price, it is tacky & poorly made. It was too small for my cat & she ended up going on the sides & outside the box. The advertisement said litter would not need to be changed for a month. It began stinking in a week. When we changed it, we discovered the tray was cardboard & it cost an additional $66. That tray had a small space for waste. Also waste material stuck to the apparatus during cleaning cycle & needed constant attention. I can't think of anything po a itive to say about product except that I'm glad to have returned it. I am writing this (it's the 1st time I've ever done this) so that others will not have to go thru what I did.

I am so loving this new PetSafe® ScoopFree® Smart Self-Cleaning Litter Box!! Weird thing is, so do my cats. I thought for sure they would hate it, however they took to it right away. I have two cats and feel like I am cleaning the litter box constantly, no one has time for that. This self cleaning box is the answer as all I have to do every week or two is dump the bottom tray of waste. Whenever the auto clean feature starts, they go running to it and gaze at it in wonderment, so cute. The thing I love most about this litter box is there is no odor. My husband is a clean freak and when the cat box smells, he is not a happy camper. There is literally no smell with this new PetSafe® ScoopFree® Smart Self-Cleaning Litter Box. Not sure how they make the crystals/litter, but it works so great.I'm off to buy two more for our house, my cats aren't going to know what to do with themselves, heeee. I definitely recommend this smart litter box.
Product worked fine for about 2 months and now refuses to connect to the internet or my phone.I have attempted sending an email through the PetSafe app, the PetSafe website, and reaching out to their chat (waited over an hour for no response via phone and text chat) however nobody has reached back out, leading me to believe they are incredibly understaffed, or non-existent.(I work in IT, so the fact that this thing has completely stumped me is very impressive.)My litterbox started blinking a blue wifi indicator, and I attempted to re-pair it via the phone app, but it connects to the wifi just fine (from the app), then starts blinking blue again and my app won't communicate/update. The box shows up as "offline". This also prevents the sensor from working after a cat uses the box, which is a huge deal breaker. I can still make it work by pressing the button manually on the device, but I paid over $200 so I didn't have to do that. I would just save the money and get the LitterRobot from Whisker instead, as they actually seem to have a decent device that will last, and a real customer service.
I’ve had this little box for 3 years with 2 male cats, and would never think about changing back! With 2 cats, the tray is changed every 2 weeks, no odor, no mess, and super easy to change. I have the refills on auto delivery so I don’t run out. It’s quiet and efficient. The tray on the bottom has never leaked through and the solid waste stays in the little compartment. Mine like the dome cover for ‘privacy’.
Over the past 5 years I have purchased 3 of these, and purchased a replacement one recently. We only have two cats now, so I use two. The concept is great, however the execution leaves something to be desired. Our cats use them, and the box does what it say says 15-20 minutes after.-Does 1 tray last a month? No.-Should you own 1 box per cat? Definitely, Yes.-Are the refill trays overpriced? Y E S.The GOOD: The machine makes for an easier job by not having to scoop a mess after each time a cat goes. The litter itself, lasts longer than traditional clay litters, and reduces residual smells. The BAD: You still have to deep clean the walls (inside and out) when you change trays. The #2 occasionally gets stuck in the rakes after cleaning. The rake has a tendency to waste some less-used litter, by trapping it in the rest position. The replacement trays are overpriced and under-deliver.The UGLY: The trays are NOT Leak-Proof. By the end of week 3, they are COMPLETELY SATURATED, and fall apart when trying to remove and cover. We ALWAYS have puddles of cat urine under the trays, and we USE THE LID to reinforce the tray to help absorb! We have had to get creative, but with little luck. One thing we’ve recently taken to doing, is to put an added layer (Usually a Plastic Trash Bag), between the tray and the cover when setting up. So when we take the the lid out from under the tray, we can still put it on top of soiled tray to throw away. In a perfect world, this would work. However, we all know cats over-shoot, especially males, and because the sides are low profile, the pee often goes on the floor from that. They make a cover, which we did, at one time use.... BUT- It would make the overall interior size too small for larger cats, and cause the pee to get on their fur, when they turn around and bury, thus making for a nasty cleanup of our cats.I think if Petsafe were to make a larger cover that extend OVER the walls, but has a lower portion tapered to fit the box, that would be the ideal situation. And Hence, if you’re still reading this review, the 3 Star review.
I’ve been using this for 8 months now, and it’s fantastic! The cats are very happy to use it. It took them all of one day to get used to it, and they found the rake fascinating. I don’t know why they say not to use automatic mode until kittens are six months old - my 3-month-olds took to it immediately, and still love it! No accidents! The only odor is right after one of them has pooped, and even that’s not too bad because of the hood. Once it’s raked, no more odor - and believe me, I’d notice - the box is in the bathroom attached to my bedroom! (In fact, the way I tell if the tray needs changing is when there’s still odor after raking. I give it a manual rake and if the odor’s still there, it’s time for a new tray.) (In fact, the way I tell if the tray needs changing is when there’s still odor after raking. I give it a manual rake and if the odor’s still there, it’s time for a new tray.) I do prefer the Lavender litter - it has much less of a perfumed smell than the Original Blue litter (I’m very sensitive to smells) and it seems to control the odors just as well. I have two cats, and the trays last a full two weeks. They are very sturdy anddon’t leak.I hate scooping, mainly because I have to bend over, and the odor is strong. The only difficulty with this system is that the tray is somwehat heavy to pick up, cover, and dispose of. However, that’s still better than emptying an entire cat box into a trash bag and carrying the bag to the trash can once a week - and the trays last longer. It definitely beats trying to lift a 25-lb jug (or even a 15-lb box) of cat litter to fill a newly-cleaned box, and I don’t have to clean a box!I’m completely sold on this box, and definitely recommend it!
I bought this item for my cat and was impressed to begin with. Now it turns out that I have to change it out every ten days! It doesn't come close to lasting "weeks" as advertised. After ten days, the odor is overwhelming and her feces doesn't fit in the little covered area. My options are to toss an expensive litter box that requires $70 each month in crystals or to keep it and keep paying! Not happy!
I bought this thinking it would be amazing and life saver. It’s not. It still tracks everywhere, it smells horrible after a few days, I have to replace the litter every 6 days. It costs way too much money for the refills to make it worth it. Rather save the money and scoop it. I wish I didn’t waste the hundreds of dollars on this terrible product.
