It's great as I work with headtorch all the time only downside is the ratchet system the teeth don't look very robust but other than that much more robust then a lenser version

I have a Petzl Pixa 3 I bought several years back that I have used a lot and still like. This new one, however provides twice the lumens on each setting. Quite an upgrade. Had there not been an upgrade in power I would still recommend this very useful tool. I say tool because it is built that way.
Nice solid feel worklight, doubles nicely for evening walks, replaces a ten year old Petzl that I damaged by dropping it (still works tho) particularly like the solid feel of the rotary switch & the fact that you get a low battery warning long before being plunged into darkness. Highly recommended.
Just the job,Iām a joiner and this is a must for early starts in the winter months
THESE TORCES ARE FANTASTIC,THEY USE 2AA BATTERIES AND HAVE A RUN TIME OF AROUND THREE HOURS BUT I'VE FOUND IF I USE RECHARGEABLES THEN THIS ALMOST DOUBLES THE RUN TIIME,HOWEVER IT THEN LOOSES IT'S ATEC RATING.THERE ARE 3 SETTINGS AND THEY ARE TRUELY WATERPROOF.!!!!!
Really good alittle heavy Ive been using a duo or a Tikka for years. This is to replace both. Cant wait to using it in the field. Seen good as I have seen other use them underground. Attached to helmet well.
Excellent manufacturing, anti-shock, easy headband adjustment (which does not desert in time ... unlike first prices) The number of lighting mode is a little "too much" ... but why not ... The lamp is classified ATEX with certificate: useful if concerned in industrial environment.
it's the second PETZL I buy. the first was damaged by one of the batteries that "leaks" it is the all-terrain frontal par excellence. suddenly the price is the account of the exellence the cost of manufacture to be modest !!!!
