Great features and easy to use. This iron is so easy to use and does a brilliant job on all the things I've ironed so far. it glides over all fabrics so lightly but yet irons them perfectly. The steam function is brilliant for thicker items and the creases literally fall out easily. it's quite lightweight as well, so that makes it easier to use for large loads and bulky items. Heat up very quickly and overall a good steam iron to use without it being complicated. The precision tip and ergonomic design are fantastic. Looks sleek and great quality. I can not recommend this steam iron enough.

I always have hard time to do ironing but Philips 3000 Series Steam iron actually helps me to do the job, even though this is the first time I try a steam iron. Smooth gliding ceramic, steam strong, temparature good, well-working on wrinkles. I also love the color and the design, the material looks aint cheap. The cord is long, which is very convenient for me to plug from the other side if my table. One little thing is that it’s a bit heavy for me, but over all I am satisfied.

I tried out my 3000 series steam iron and I what I do like about it versus others I’ve tried is the metal plate on it does not stick or leave that white flaky residue that others promise. I did leave off one star because if I could change anything about this iron would be the cord. It doesn’t retract into the iron like others, or offer any type of support to secure your cord when you’re storing it when not in use. So if the cord issue doesn’t bother you I’d say try this iron out but personally I really prefer to keep my iron stored neatly especially the cord.

I have been in the market for a lightweight but powerful steam iron and this one is incredible for the price. It heats up very quickly and I like that the outside is translucent and I can see just how much water is inside. The ceramic plate is also great for smooth and easy ironing. The only thing I found a little complicated was the dial. I wasn’t sure which direction to point it in initially and couldn’t tell from the instructions. After a trial run, I got it down and it was fairly easy!

What a disappointment! The Automatic switch off happens after only 15 mins! Is there anybody out there who finishes the ironing in 15 mins??? To begin again, the power must be turned off and then on again. I have to wonder whether the designer of this pretty iron has ever actually ironed anything? Also the Calc Clean didn't do what was promised .. in fact it did not respond at all. i have always believed Philips was a reputable manufacturer and this has come as a huge shock.

Worst Philips Iron Ever Purchased
11 October 2023

I have always bought Philips Irons in the past, and after 15 years I had to buy a new one and bought this model based on reviews from The Good Guys. The worst Philips iron I have ever purchased, I strongly recommend you put your $$ elsewhere and buy another brand. With this iron it is a chore to iron, you should not have to apply pressure to get the iron to glide along clothes, the power cord is exceptionally short I went out and bought a 2M extension cord. The Steam/Water Spray buttons are to close to where your hand sits on the handle so you keep pressing randomly as you attempt to force this iron forward, it picks and gathers at your clothes (as the iron doesn't glide), where the cord sticks out from the iron always sticks out up, even when you move it to point ... MoreI have always bought Philips Irons in the past, and after 15 years I had to buy a new one and bought this model based on reviews from The Good Guys. Again, I strongly recommend you do not buy this iron.

This is a pretty nice iron. Nothing too fancy. It gets the wrinkles out well using water and steam. Glides smoothly over the fabric. I don’t give it five stars because it still leaks water. Which I find annoying. The chord could also be longer.

This iron is an excellent choice! It features fast heating, saving time during ironing. The ceramic soleplate ensures smooth gliding, prevents clothes from sticking, and is easy to clean. The strong steam output effectively smooths even the toughest wrinkles. And most importantly, the auto-off function after 8 minutes of inactivity makes it safe and energy-efficient.

[Rewarded Review] Gets out the wrinkles without fear of damage
12 February 2024

This Phillips stem iron 3000 series is great at it's job. Keeps our clothes and linens crisp without fear of burning them. Be sure to follow the directions and you'll survive. I did not find that I had to go over multiple spots like with other irons of my past. This bad boy was super effective.

This iron is pretty good if you’re an iron gal! The steam function works really well (buttons are easy to push down on)! The iron itself has so many settings for different fabrics etc which is nice. I personally am more of a steamer girl myself but this is great if you like irons!
