I tried first on an un-ironed shirt and it was good for the body of the shirt but around the buttons no good. A previously ironed shirt with a few creases in came out well. T-shirts were the best as they were very quick and easy to get the wrinkles out. Trousers also faired well. Hems that have a curled up crease are awkward to do unless you can lay them flat on a heatproof surface. Instructions say to hang garments so you need to be able to hang near a socket. Cordless would be better. Care needs to be taken when refitting water container as I received a burn when the handle flipped as I was refitting after I had refilled the water tank. I did not use the product for travel but will do so when I next travel.I was given this product to test and review.

The handheld steamer is well made, comfortable, light to use, and heats up quickly.The steam output for such a small and handy steamer is astonishingly powerful.There is nothing that this steamer would not iron. So far, I've ironed clothes (shirts, sweatshirts) and curtains. I was amazed at how well the steamer handled the hanging curtains – it removed all wrinkles.The steamer uses steam, so you don't have to worry about burning the fabric, which could happen with the wrong iron temperature. In addition, e.g. blouses or dresses with frills can be ironed faster and less strenuous.A storage pouch is included. I recommend this product.

It came just in time before my holidays giving me the perfect opportunity to try it out. The steamer is absolutely brilliant for freshening up a garment which has light creases and for getting a garment ready to wear quickly without the annoying hassle of getting out the ironing board. It gets up to temperature even faster than the instructions suggested 20 minutes & it's pretty light so not tough on my joints even when the water tank is totally full. I've not taken it on any travels so far but the travel bag is a nice touch, meaning I can put everything away tidily in one place with no risk of anything getting lost; the folding handle makes it a more convenient shape to slide into a bag & makes the whole bag compact enough that I'd definitely pop it in my suitcase next time I'm heading away with anything that creases. Ready in seconds plus can be used in any room. No ironing board required.First use I was a bit nervous how close to fabric to hold steamer but soon realised the closer the better.Used on my curtains with success.After dog sitting for a few days, steamed all my cushions with an excellent result, no lingering odour.Ideal for a few items before refilling. Regular use, refreshing items and traveling.
