I received the item on 31 Aug 18 by a friendly Ninja. After unboxing it, I studied the functions and find it easy to understand and follow. I then had a look at the recipe book that came with it. The recipes were well written and seemed very easy to follow so I decided to try out two of the recipes on a lazy Sunday on 2 Sep. First it was beef stew since I had all the ingredients on hand. Cooking the dish was Super easy. I basically chopped up all the vegetables and cut the meat in small chunks. First I browned the meat in the pot. There are 2 levels of heat selection. After sautéing just add begs and soups and cover and followed the instructions to cook the meat and tada! The stew was ready in 40mins! If I were to cook on a stove in a pot it would probably take me at least 2-3 hrs and I hv to keep watching and stirring it occasionally to make sure it doesn’t burn at the bottom or spill over. The minus point about this cooker is for the sauté-Ong function, there is only 2 heat settings-high or low . There is no medium heat. Maybe manufacturing can build in the medium setting in the further product development. I also tried making yoghurt using the recipe and it was so easy to make. I just followed the instruction given and I had perfect yoghurt the next morning!Overall this is a great appliance for busy families and novice cook who want quick, convenient and delicious home cooked meals without the fuss. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering buying a cooker.

The air pressured setting largely cut down the cooking time. The pot size of 6lites is roomy enough to fit many ingredients and keep all the flavour to the chicken. very yummy and would highly recommend and I can't wait to try on other cooking methods.

Was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed this product to find a recipe book with it - that included many recipes like beef stew, carrot cake, and even strawberry jam! Box also included a rice spoon, a soup ladle, steam tray, and rice cup. When I plugged it in and turned it on, there are many cooking options: slow cook, pressure cook, bake, stew, reheat. And under pressure cooking I could even choose different cooking options (risotto, soup, etc.). This cooker also automatically keeps your food heated after it's done cooking (for up to 24h!). Perfect for the busy individuals like me who just like to throw all the ingredients into the pot and come back to it later. Having this all-in-one cooker in my kitchen has reduced the number of appliances I need, as I no longer need a separate rice cooker, pressure cooker, and oven anymore. This product does everything! The only gripe I have with this product is that the instruction manual didn't exactly specify how to use the floating valve. I didn't quite get what setting I had to turn the valve to or how long I had to wait before releasing the lid after pressure cooking, so I turned the entire cooker off before opening the lid shortly, but there were still some hot liquid spurting out. I tried to google but couldn't find much info online as well.Overall, this was an excellent product to use and extremely convenient and fuss-free. Can't wait to try baking with this cooker!

I was really excited when the All In One cooker arrived and couldn't wait to start whipping up a beef stew with it. However, there were so many options to press on the cooker that i didn't know how to start. After preparing all the required dishes, I tried using the pressure cooker function to cook the stew, it took about an hour plus and I got a big shock when i released the pressure. All the steam blew up the top like a volcanic eruption! The steam collected at my kitchen cabinet and i had to spend another 10 mins cleaning up all the vapour with beef smell!.Tried the beef stew and realised that it wasn't totally cooked yet even after an hour plus of pressure cooking and i had to transfer the stew to a traditional stove top to continue boiling/ cooking the beef.I ... MoreI was really excited when the All In One cooker arrived and couldn't wait to start whipping up a beef stew with it. I guess the cooker is a good device its just that its not for everybody. :)
This is my first time using a pressure cooker, it really saves me a lot of cooking time. I have used it to cook fish maw with winter melon soup, set pressure cooker to 40mins and it came out everything soft and tasty. Then I used it to cook scallop porridge, set pressure cook to 30mins and it came out thick and smooth. I suggest if you do not like thick porridge then guess you can shorten the cooking time to 20mins. Just one thing I would like to highlight to you is to avoid putting the pressure cooker on the kitchen top where there are shelves above it because when you open the vent there are hot steam coming out which might heat up the shelves above. Just one thing I would like to highlight to you is to avoid putting the pressure cooker on the kitchen top where there are shelves above it because when you open the vent there are hot steam coming out which might heat up the shelves above. As my item have a missing floating pin which I did not notice so when I did not see the pin floating I release the vent and soup spurt out from the pressure gauge and I have to clean up my shelves above the pressure cooker. Also when you release the pressure gauge make sure your fingers are not above the opening vent as the escaping steam is very hot. I hope that the lever to open the vent is much longer so that it is further away from the escaping steam. The recipe book supplied with the cooker are not of the common asian food list so I can only use it to estimate how long I should set for the pressure cooker to cook my food. After using the pressure cooker I realised that if I want food to cook in different stage it is very troublesome, like cooking the beef stew, if I put the carrots , potatoes and onions together with the beef at the beginning and start the pressure cooker set at 45mins the soup will come out too soft for the carrots and potatoes. Otherwise I will have to cook the beef first then put in the other ingredients after one cycle of pressure cooking. This will be a little troublesome because if you boil your soup on the stove you can add items it at anytime easily, but as for the pressure cooker you will have to wait for the pressure to reduce and release before you can add items to the soup. If you want to add in multiple stages then it is very much an extra work.Overall I have enjoyed using this pressure cooker, I only used if for pressure cooking, did not use the slow cooker or bake functions. My suggestion on improvement to this product are 1) extend the lever on the pressure gauge or have the lever on the left so that it is on the outside of the cover 2) inserts some Asian recipes in your recipe book 3) conduct classes to teach us the function of setting for different cooking.
Attempted green olive, garlic and lemon chicken as ingredients were straight forward. The step by step instruction was pretty easy to follow. The online recipe and the complimentary recipe book had variations in terms of portions of the ingredients and cooking time. We followed the timing as per the complimentary recipe book. After the prescribed 18min cooking time (see image), cooking was done but as we were unsure, we left it there for a while before deciding to open the lid as it seemed like cooking was completed.Verdict - Chicken was tender however some parts were not fully cooked (see image). Our chicken was in fact smaller than the suggested size. It didn’t turn out flavorful, specifically a lil blend. There was no instruction to add salt or use salted butter. If you are into a no sodium and extremely healthy dish, it would be a prefect meal.Feeling puzzled over the uncooked parts, we took a closer scrutiny of the difference between the online recipe and the complimentary copy and realized the cooking time should have been 43min (as indicated in the online recipe), which explained why the chicken is undercooked. For me to give this product another attempt, it needs to gain my trust back that the details are accurate.
Used this product to test cook lamb bones. Usually it took me 2 hrs or more to cook 1kg of bones. But apparently this product just need 45mins to cook the bones. I am quite impressed. I use it to cook the bones with gravy and it works just fine. It works exactly like a normal pressure cooker, just faster. I am truly happy to use this product again. I try again by cooking chicken rice, it was awesome. Very easy to cook and very fast. Simply use the pressure cooker button and every cooking is speed faster. Thus product comes with a cooking book. Ideas on what to cook with this product. I tried the soup and use slow cooker and trully slow cook. So I stop using that button and continue using pressure cooking button instead. I had been wanting one of these for some time. My husband has a stove top pressure cooker that scares me too much to use, and I loved my slow cooker that I had before moving here but had somehow not replaced due to our small kitchen size and wanting to keep multiple appliances to a minimum.I really love using this - it makes pressure cooking so easy, and would easily replace most of the slow cooked meals I used to make. i've used it to make roast chicken, lamb, pork, risotto among other things.Pros:-Its really easy to use and the controls are straight forward. Just press a few buttons and make sure the lid is on right and away it goes. Just press a few buttons and make sure the lid is on right and away it goes. Easy to clean too- great for cooking pork and lamb - slow cooked/pulled pork etc are a breeze and take less than a quarter of the time of a slow cooker.- Can be used as a slow cooker too which is handy if you want to keep something going while your out (I wouldn't leave the pressure cooker going while away from home but would be ok with leaving the slow cooker on)- Love the saute functions too for reducing sauces or starting / finishing off a dish - saves having to use/clean another pot or pan as everything can be done in the one dish.- As I said above, this is awesome for the time poor cook or less organised cook like me who doesn't think about dinner till the last minute.Cons- Cooking a roast chicken can be difficult - I followed the recipe in the book and it did not pressure cook without any water in the pot - so I ended up with half raw chicken - I needed to add a cup of water and start over again after which it came out great, but of course not as good as a regular roast which has crispy skin. Cooking risotto had its own challenges and ended up gluggy although the taste was great- No ability to see/stir/adjust timings as you are going, unlike a slow cooker where you can keep an eye on your food. I guess there is some trial and error involved, but I found it a bit frustrating to have to wait till the end of cooking to know if a dish came out ok.- Comes with an aluminium / non stick pot and a plastic steamer tray. I was too concerned about the plastic steamer tray to use this for any cooking, let alone pressure cooking, as I was worried it wouldn't withstand the heat. Also would prefer to have a stainless steel pot. There is one available for the philips cooker in AUS, but for some reason isn't sold in Singapore.- Is fairly large and doesn't fit in any of my kitchen cupboards
I have loved using this multi cooker—although I mostly use it as a pressure cooker. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Allows me to cook delicious and healthy shredded chicken in about half and hour as opposed to several hours in a slow cooker. Cooks rice quickly too. It is nice to one machine replace this appliances on my counter. My only complaint would be the nonstick surface of the inner pot. It has already chipped at the top and I have only had the pot for five months and I have always hand washed it. So I can’t imagine it will last very long. For how expensive it was, I don’t think I should have to worry about replacing the pot so soon. The brand Instant Pot uses a stainless steel pot with insert options, and I think that is probably a better design choice ... MoreI have loved using this multi cooker—although I mostly use it as a pressure cooker. Am excited about this appliance because of the pressure cooking function. But I am equally happy that I can now cook soups, rice and even bake using this! The recipe book that comes together is handy and gives a good idea of what we can do with the appliance. It will be great if there is more specific instructions on how to use the machine, as there is quite a number of functions to figure out.My first cook is done using a recipe I got off the internet, and I was really amazed how I could prepare delicious tender chicken chops with onion sauce within 30 mins. My family loved it and now I can't wait to try out other recipes!
