Dies after a few months (including my replacement)

I bought it in June 2022. Liked that it has adjustable pressure and different nozzles for me to try. Also has a nifty design that allows you to store the nozzle in the water tank. A single charge lasted me quite a while. But then it suddenly decided to die on me. Couldn't turn it on, neither could I charge it. Went to the service centre which was 40 mins away from my house and they offered to send me a replacement unit. The replacement unit was working well for about 3 months before it too decided to die on me. Again, I couldn't turn it on or charge it.Really bad quality for the price I paid.

Easy way to make flossing a habit

The product is very easy to use once you get the hang of how it works. Once you know the basic operation, it does make flossing such a simple and more enjoyable task for me than using dental floss. I love that it is cordless, I've using it for a week and battery is holding up. It's simple to fill up and go, it also helps to reach the back and harder to reach areas when using floss/picks. I definitely prefer this Power Flosser than the traditional method! In terms of effectiveness of using this versus floss/picks, via visual inspection it does get all the food residue out but I can't say if it removes more or less plaque. The matte black design looks good, clear container helps to see the water level as well. There are different power settings including deep cleaning and 3 power mode, I tend to use the lowest as I'm a bit sensitive. Overall, I think this is a really good product to help make flossing a habit - it's simple, clean and effective. One slight design flaw in my view is the button to release the floss head is on the back, naturally you need to hold the power flosser to press down on the button to release but the power on button is round the front so sometimes I hit this by accident when trying to release and it ejects water unexpectedly. After once or twice, I've learnt to be more carefulto avoid this. It would also be helpful if there are grippy surfaces or grooves on the side similar to electric toothbrushes, it's very smooth which is totally fine when using but found it difficult to grip and rotate the water container when wet. Not a huge problem, have found that I just need to dry it first before rotating to remove the water container.

Start from the bottom of the device body, gulp of water dashed out, lower part of the circuit board see heavy oxidation and corrosion, there was sign of water accumulating at the bottom part of the body. Back of buttons were sealed properly, no risk of water ingress, back of USB C port sealed properly, no risk of water ingress, bottom cover has a rubber ring, no sign of water ingress either. The only part without a seal ring seems to be the top part of the body, where the nozzle connects with the body. Water might get in from there during use and accumulate. But all these is only a rough guess through observation.I hope they have updated the design and it would last longer. For now, I would either hang it upside down or sit it side way with button facing up after each use.

Great once you learn to use it without getting soaked!
29 June 2023

This is a great flosser which cleans between teeth really well.I thought, at first, that the handle part was too large, as I was used to the AirFlosser, but this is not actually a problem.I was soaked when I first started using it! You do get more used to it with continued use, but there is something about where the start/stop button is that seems to trick me still! Somehow, I still seem to randomly squirt myself in the face with water! But, overall, it is great for what it is designed to do - floss the gaps between teeth so that they are very clean.

I hate Phillips

Stopped charging after a couple of months. Looked for customer support. All phone numbers given for customer support are disconnected. Spent days looking for help from Phillips absolutely nothing. Online expert advise charge $2.00 then $66 a month but apparently you can cancel anytime? Nah I don’t trust Phillips at all. If I can’t get my flosser fixed or a refund without an incredible headache and it seems you can’t no matter what. I’m sure I won’t be able to cancel this advise subscription. Highly unimpressed will never buy anything from Phillips again. Complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY OR TRUST PHILIPS!

I have received the product as part of a product test, however Phillips has no editorial influence on my review. My first impression when I opened the packaging was the quality it. The size is perfect to hold comfortably in my hand and It was quite simple to put together and the pictorial instructions made it super easy to get started. It has 3 different settings to choose from and 2 flossing modes, Which i found quite useful. I mistakenly started on the highest setting and it was extremely powerful. I would suggest starting on the lowest setting until you get familiar with it. Prior to using this i had only ever used traditional flossing and interdental brushes. The power flosser left my teeth feeling really clean like being to the dentist clean, I was pleasantly surprised. It can even get into hard to reach areas that are difficult when using normal floss and it was powerful enough to remove food that had been stuck between my teeth that brushing didn’t remove. It has definitely won me over and the fact that its cordless is a bonus and the battery life is very long lasting. From a full charge it lasted me about 2 weeks so theres no need to constantly charge it. I also liked the fact that the reservoir is transparent so i could see how much water i was putting in and how much i had left, and its big enough to hold enough water to clean my whole mouth. After using this power flosser I won’t be returning to traditional flossing it’s definitely worth it.

Not that impressed
20 July 2023

The Flosser I have been using for quite some time is the Philips Sonicare HX8111/02 Airfloss - I think that is the correct number. I have had three over the years - they work , albeit not for very long - however they are very good.It seems Phillips have stopped making them and replaced it with the Flosser 300This replacement is not as good by a long shot.I find I have to use dental care brushes after using this item , something I never had to do before. My opinion - we the public are being taken for a ride here.A white version costs more than the black version.Up to £40 difference depending on colour ??? Really? Also try pricing replacement heads - the plain heads , slightly pointed are £28.00 for two.Philips ?? You messed up with this ....

Revolutionary New Way To Floss!
7 September 2021

I have used a few different versions of oral, water flosser systems in my life and I've never had such great results with so little effort, than I've had with the Sonicare Flosser. This flosser is portable. It is chargeable so, are no wires attached and no clunky water reservoir taking up precious counter space. I've gotten well beyond 2 weeks of use on one full charge, using it 2 cycles a day. This unit is completely waterproof and to say that this is a "game changer" is a massive understatement. I have always found water flossers to be a bit messy. I've accidentally sprayed my mirror and walls many times so, when the instructions mentioned using this flosser in the shower, I was equally in awe of this brilliant tip, as I was shocked that no one had thought of this ... MoreI have used a few different versions of oral, water flosser systems in my life and I've never had such great results with so little effort, than I've had with the Sonicare Flosser. I have always found water flossers to be a bit messy. I've accidentally sprayed my mirror and walls many times so, when the instructions mentioned using this flosser in the shower, I was equally in awe of this brilliant tip, as I was shocked that no one had thought of this before! I've been using my flosser in my shower ever since. I fill it straight from the shower steam and floss with abandon letting water run down my arms and no fears of rogue sprays flying everywhere. The clean I achieve with this flosser is unmatched. The soft tipped attachment is my favorite because it is made to press against your gum line, without sensitivity. I also feel that I'm better able to direct my stream when pushing the nozzle on my actual teeth and gums. Another big plus of using this in the shower, is that I enjoy using warm water in my flosser, to assure that I don't suffer any sensitivity. Since in the shower, I don't have to run my sink and wait for it to go warm. The level of clean I can reach with this flosser is truly unmatched. The quad pacer lets me know how long I have in each quadrant of my teeth, before I need to move on to the next. This also helps me gage me water level as I know can make 1 pass, in each quadrant, before I start running out of water. My teeth feel smooth and dentist level clean after flossing. I admit, I'm a bit of a clean freak so, I do run 2 full cycles no matter what. I like to make sure that I don't miss a spot or 2. Although, I'm very pleased with just one cycle.Overall, this flosser has completely changed my thoughts on using a water irrigation flosser. Sonicare has made a compact, wireless, waterproof, easy to store, and exceptionally effective device for the ultimate care of your teeth and gums.*I received this product in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

So far so very good!

I feel like this is keeping my mouth super clean and fresh but until I visit the dentist I won't know if it's doing its job! I wonder if he will spot that I stopped using regular floss for this (regular floss is a pain to use and I'm always hurting my gums with it by mistake). I have to put a towel over myself with this else I still get soaked but less than I did the first few times. It doesn't feel too bulky so is easy to hold and it has a clever design to keep the head inside which I like too. The charge seems to last a while - obviously, the higher power clean you chose the faster you get through both the water and the battery. I'd say the battery lasts me a good few weeks so far.

well it was going to be either a water jet or the fiddly tooth pick things (or traditional floss). This has decent battery life. You can end up making quite a mess with water squirting everywhere, until you learn how to use it. Best watch a few videos. I've not tried the extra attachment yet as the single one with various power settings does the trick.Good instructions on how to maintain/clean the kit. Pouch is handy. Quite big if you wanted it for travel, unless you're going for extended period.
