The instructions given for this clock were very confusing and badly printed. I found it very difficult to work out how to set the alarm. I have now downloaded the instruction manual from the internet and it works well. There seemed to be a sept missing from the printed instructions supplied with the clock

Works well and quality of audio is good. Only disappointment is that the dimming function doesn't allow you to turn off the display completely. Is does dim down but just not off completely as our previous digital radio did.

Love the DAB tuner, easy to use and decent sound quality out of this little unit. 2 different alarms which is handy. Love how it eases the sound up when the alarm goes off, doesn't just blast you at full volume. 3 brightness settings on the display which is great for sleeping. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the display is a bit small so hard to read from a distance.

I'm pretty disappointed with this clock, I have found it impossible to store my 3 favourite radio channels.Either the software is faulty or the instructions are flawed (I even downloaded the full manual), I'm not sure which is the case.But I need a replacement alarm clock and with lock down and being a vulnerable person, I do not want to keep going out.So I guess I just have to live with it for now, but it was a waste almost $100 that I thought would buy me a quality product. I would have been better spending a lot less and buying a no name product.But I've learn a lesson, I'll never buy another Philips radio clock again.
DAB wouldn't tune initially. Fluffing with 'antenna' position got this working on 3rd try. Once sorted, works well as time is set automagically from digital feed. Buttons are small, badly labelled and 'weak'. Audio is 'tinny' sounding. Device sits 'square' on a surface, so viewing angle of LCD is limited. LCD dimming control easy to mix up with snooze button. Haven't worked out if DAB radio has 'favourite' feature as yet (though FM does). Having said this, it woke me up on time this morning. Hoping longevity will overcome shortfalls.

I had to download the full instruction manual from the web as the pictures shown on the Quick Start Guide which came in the box are not adequate other than for more than general settings like the time. I have been trying to set up both alarms each with different times and different DAB channels and am about to give up. One alarm is OK but it is proving difficult to set the second alarm in addition, and with a different DAB option. Im still trying to work out how to set the alarm. In fact, Ive put it in a plastic bag in the cupboard. And I got back my old clock radio which certainly sounds a lot better. Dont buy one!
Audio quality poor. FM audio slightly better than DAB+ audio, but still poor audio quality overall. Clock radio shows the radio station call sign, rather than the time when the alarm goes off and for the next 30 minutes of the alarm duration.
This alarm clock radio serves its purpose well enough for me - providing a gentle way to wake up to the radio and serving as a peace-of-mind back up to my phone's alarm. In spite of the quick set up guide being purely pictorial and a bit hard to follow, it's thankfully intuitive enough just playing with th buttons to set the time, set an alarm time and choose a desired radio station. Would give it 5 stars if the sound quality was a little better (it's not bad, but not quite as good as I'd hoped for the price) and if their was a rigid telescoping antenna instead of just a wire.
Radio display station info rather than time when alarm function is active. Time display numbers to close therefore hard to read. supplied user guide next to useless. as a radio reception and sound are good
