DreamStation is the perfect solution for when you run out of distilled water right before bedtime because this humidifier can be used with tap or bottled water allowing you to keep your therapy going in comfort. Works with Bottled or Tap Water Most CPAP machines don't work well with tap water, but many people still use it because it's in every home. Distilled water isn't readily available, and it's only available in certain stores. This humidifier solves this exact problem and allows you to use bottled, tap, or distilled water when on the road. Thanks to the advanced design, it allows handling of the minerals and impurities found in regular tap water and bottled water. Distilled water is still the preferred type of water to use with the DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier, however occasional use of tap or bottled water is acceptable. Tap water will still leave the same residue behind and will still require the same attention during cleaning. For safety reasons, do not use carbonated water or flavored water, or water with dyes or coloring. Use With Different Tubing Sizes The design is adapted so it can work with 12mm, 15mm, or 19mm tubing. You can connect to almost any sized hose. Intelligent Features This device can adjust the temperature of the heating plate for optimum comfort and auto-adjust heat and humidity by monitoring ambient humidity. The heating plate turns off automatically to ensure the device is not heating without an adequate amount of water present.

The one-dimensional star rating isn't quite adequate, because the humidifier may be great. However, when I followed the instructions to use the included micro-SD card to update the Dreamstation Go firmware, the procedure bricked my Dreamstation Go.The Go was initially sold before the humidifier was available, and the firmware was not able to recognize or control the humidifier, making the update necessary. Upon confirming the update, my Go displayed a message "firmware update is in progress. Don't turn off the power to the unit" for 12 hours, which is definitely wrong. Eventually (after talking to support), I tried power-cycling, resulting in a blank white screen.I called support at CPAP.com, and they said they could not provide support for my unit since it is ... MoreThe one-dimensional star rating isn't quite adequate, because the humidifier may be great. I've been using a ResMed AirSense 10 for several years, and have been quite happy with it, but it is kind of a pain to travel with. I tried the Z1 travel CPAP, and it was okay, but the lack of humidification was a problem for me. I also didn't love the form factor - its odd shape meant it was less than stable on a nightstand, and I hated having to use the little plastic adapter to connect my hose to it. It was functional, but less than ideal for me.When I saw the ads for the DreamStation Go, I was intrigued by its form factor, small-but-not-too-small size, and the fact that it didn't need a separate power supply, instead using only a simple power cord. I bought one, and fell in love with it right away. I've been using it for the last 3 nights (at home), and I have to say, the humidifier transforms the DreamStation Go into the full package for me. It's still relatively small (much smaller than carrying my AirSense 10 plus its power supply), and the humidification works perfectly. I've slept like a baby each night I've used it.The machine is quiet and easy to use, and it's quite portable, even with the humidifier attached. If you travel, but have trouble using a CPAP without humidification, I highly recommend the DreamStation Go with humidifier.

I purchased the humidifier with my Dreamstation Go as I use the CPAP on board airliners with their very dry air and my vacation home which is located in a desert climate.I was concerned that the reservoir would be inadequate given it's small size but that has proven to be a non-issue.Humidification is quite adequate and I am so happy with the CPAP/Humidifier combo that I haven't bothered to set up my Series 60 machine in my vacation home from where I am writing this review.A most worthwhile purchase.

I’m not happy with this machine. The pressure control (ramps, amount of pressure) are not as comfortable as my normal machines. Too much pressure for way to long. This in spite of the machine being set up to the same prescription as the other machines. But my major issue is that this is advertised as a travel machine. It is small enough, but still quite heavy. And the BIG problem is that it does not have a 12v power input. To use it on a battery, you must buy an expensive Philips exclusive battery. Making a machine only useable with a proprietary and expensive battery is just another attempt by Philips to increase their profits, and it makes the machine less versatile for the owner.

A worthy addition to an amazing CPAP
14 October 2020

The DreamStation Go is a wonder. I debated getting the humidifier. I'm glad I did, and it works great for me. If this is only being used for travel, I'm not sure it is worth the cost and size over the CPAP for short trips. I use the CPAP at my partners house when I stay over, so with the humidifier I now have a total system when I sleep over. When I travel for short trips however, I don't need the humidifier. In my case a trip longer than 2 nights I bring the humidifier with, and have a more comfortable sleep, and the increase in luggage is worth it. At the top I should have mentioned that it works really well. Not quite a smooth as the full size unit on the DreamStation. It is however a marvel as a complete package.

Thank you for support

I got a Philips Respironics DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier a week ago. Importing to Japan requires an import report to the customs office and was issued by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. It was troublesome. However, it is highly effective in that the throat does not hurt when used and it feels good when you get up. It was a very good product, so I'm glad I had a hard time importing it. Since it was out of stock, we waited for a purchase for 3 weeks, but we asked for support until the arrival. Thank you for the price and delivery support.

Works well!

Be advised that you cannot use the humidifier with a battery attached to the CPAP machine. Your machine has to be plugged in. Also, using the humidifier locks you on RAMP (i.e. 6.5) which is not necessarily bad but something you may not be using right now. The unit, all-in-all, is wonderful -- much better than going without or using a room humidifier to bring the up the humidity of the air flowing into the machine. Wish it would have been on the market last winter when things got really bad here (humidity-wise) but this year I face the coming winter with no fear. :-)
