This air drier is the best!!! Beyond thrilled with this. As a long time cook of gourmet food, who even has a true convection oven, this has become my 'go to' appluance. I'm even experimenting to adapt recipes so I can use my Philips....so aptly named. No more fat splattered stove, and the clean up is beyond easy. As a person facing high utility prices, the speed and reduced power consumption of this air fryer is amazing. As a senior watching my health, the reduced fat warms (and protects) my heart. I'm buying another one so I don't have to use the stove for side dishes. Nothing makes better herb roasted potatoes. Thank you, thank you, thank you Philips.

I love this airfryer a lot. It’s so handy and cooks food so fast and crispy. Also uses less oil so you’re eating healthier food. It has many different functions and can change the temperature too. It’s very easy to clean as the draw comes out and you just wash easily in the sink or the dishwasher. I now hardly use my oven. So it’s saving me money on electricity bills.

I’ve had this air fryer for two years and it still works great. It’s great in size and is powerful. I’ve cooked so many things in this air fryer. It cooked my food to a gentle crisp for a more desirable texture. It’s easy for use as well as super easy to clean. I love the nice look. It doesn’t take up a lot of space in my kitchen. It’s fits perfectly in a corner. I would definitely recommend this air fryer.

I finally bought an air fryer after debating for a few months. I looked at various models from different brands. I originally looked at a toaster style version but after much thought, I decided to get this one instead. I’m glad that I got the larger version so that I don’t have to cram in so much food at a time. I’m amazed with how quickly it cooks things! It’s definitely a game changer and I can make meals much quickly now. Using my oven was a hassle to preheat, it released a lot of hot air when using it on a hot day, and it used more electricity as well. Only thing is that there are several pieces to clean but the the non-stick surface helps.

Best purchase I’ve made in ages!!!

I’m glad to have the opportunity to write this review. I told my daughter I loved my Air Fryer so much that I wanted to write Philips a Thank You note! It takes up such a small amount of counter space. It cooks so quickly. I threw my toaster oven away because I didn’t need it anymore. Perhaps the nicest thing about it is that the manual encourages you to just put the parts in the dishwasher after every use. Clean up is so easy!!!Easily my favorite kitchen purchase for as long as I can remember. Keep up the good work!

Disappointing

It is not worth the purchase considering its cost and the experiences I went through with! I owned 3 airfryers in the past, two with analog and one digital style that were within my budget range. I thoroughly enjoyed using them while they lasted, even if they were not perfect. I contacted Philips customer service twice about it and both reps were helpful and courteous. They sent me a replacement with the condition of returning the original defective piece to them which I agreed. Not being able to use an airfryer for about a whole month until my replacement arrived, it was irking. After receiving my replacement, there were a few issues that I never had with my old airfryers that I ended up returning BOTH to their respective places .I called Philips customer service and spoke with their rep Lauren about the replacement. While I started to bring up my first concern about the power light being orange throughout the entire time of cooking, it never changed to green, which it did not bothered me much because the heating element was still working. But I was not sure if it was a sign that it might give up on me soon. Lauren shut me off by being rude and unprofessional with her responses before I was able to bring up my next issue with this devise. I told her whenever I set the timer at or below 10mins, it stopped cooking within 1-2mins. Her responses to my concerns/issues baffled me because they were illogical.Maybe I lucked out on both appliances, but it definitely did not meet my expectations for the price I paid for.Pros:1. Sturdy and well made outer materials2. Rings when it is complete3. Not having to deal with multiple unnecessary buttons4. Easy to clean5. Good ventilation. It releases hot air upwards away from the wall6. Drains oil well to the bottom of the basket. Its fan is strong!Cons:1. Basket too small to cook for a family size resulting in cooking multiple batches2. Stops cooking when set the timer at or below 10 mins resulting not able to reheat fried /crispy leftovers!3. Noise level is on par as any airfryer on the market4. No auto pause when pulling out basket to flip foods. The timer still runs and cooks when basket is pulled out5. Orange light (maybe not too important as long as it cooks) throughout entire cooking times6. Takes over counter space as it is a chunky equipment.

Love my airfryer

5 Star product. Great for reheating, cooking from scratch, baking, pizza making or frying chips! The texture and finish of the food is excellent, tasty and ofcourse healthy. Every time I cook chicken I'm amazed at how much fat comes out. I even toast bread in it andmy partner loves making his bacon n eggs in it on a Sunday morning! And best of all clean up is a breeze everything goes into the dishwasher. It permanently stays out on the bench now. Hardly need to use the oven. Alot of my friends have one also and rave about it too. I passed down my first original airfryer to my mum n I upgraded to this. Love all the different attachments/accessories that you can buy. I love using the silicone moulds to make muffins. Everything cooks quickly n efficiently. One of the ... More5 Star product. At roughly a 15"x15"x15" cube it is not a compact countertop appliance. However, lets be really clear that this thing does in fact do what it is advertised to do. It can hold a full 5lb chicken on a wire rack suspended inside the Air Fryers non-stick square cooking basin. The bottom portion of the Air Fryer is pulled out using the silver handle. That horizontal line you see on the face of the Air Fryer the top of the cooking drawer the basin sits in. The on drawer slides on two high quality commercial grade stainless steel likely ball bearing tracks (it slides that smoothly) Once the drawer is pulled all the way out. The wire rack has standing wire hoop handles on left and right that you use to lift and remove your food from the cooking basin from. The cooking basin is lifted out by the sturdy silver handle vertically. The Basin and Handle combination weigh around a pound or two. It is light. The drawer pull handle has a dovetailed shaped male vertical guide that slides inside its corresponding female dovetail shaped vertical track. Lifting the handle with cooking basin vertically frees it. Very slick, well designed and sturdy looking. Not sure if it can take a drop to tile floor, but likely it would survive a vinyl or wood floor fall without breaking. In my view this is a safe well designed mechanism for easily removing and disposing hot grease. Use wise. It is an analogue cooking timer... think old 60 minute kitchen timer... on the face of the Air Fryer that you set for time. Atop is a similar analogue mechanical dial to set the temperature. So long as your kids and adult friends don't play a game of twist the knob with the analogue timer.. it should operate reliably for years to come. Cooking wise. Like I said. It is my opinion this is the best air fryer money can buy.
