These lights have changed how we live. Basically they take no longer than 5-10 minutes to swop out any existing spotlights. Come with a handy app from which you can control the mood, ambience and colours of the light but the best thing of all is that you can switch them on and off from your phone.As a working mother this is an energy saving gift and i would not hesitate to swop out all my harsh spots to create different ambiences and moods over my living room and kitchen. Great product

I recently bought two sets of these spotlights, six in total, for my kitchen. Setup via the Hue app was very straightforward and when coupled with a pair of HomePod minis am able to control them with Siri.My kitchen is very small, the six spotlights make it nice and bright, but for a larger kitchen you'd need more. The lights themselves look, I went for the chrome ones.I recommend the Philips hue lights in general and the spotlights in particular. The functionality is good, the options extensive and the app is intuitive and easy to use, though a Bridge is required to take full advantage of them.

The bulbs are top quality as you would expect from hue but the bulb holders are cheep plastic this spoils the look and is disappointing.Overall I do like the lights they are easy to setup and install.

They come packaged well and with no plastic which is great for the environment.The spotlights have a white border which is a bonus as it matches the ceiling whereas my previous ones were silver. The bulbs can be moved and positioned in different directions which is a nice touch compared to my previous bulbs which were always set to pointing downwards. My previous bulbs were not LED so having LED bulbs now is also a great money saving way to look after the environment.The setup was a little bit tricky as the bulbs were not compatible with my already fitted wires but that wasn't too hard to change.Now for the fun part; the Bluetooth controls. You can use your phone too which is cool with a huge range of different colours to choose from you are sure to find the right colour for any mood.Personally I find a nice soft light is perfect for when watching tv in the evenings as it's not to harsh but when having friends round it's nice to pick a more colourful lighting.I look forward to trying more colours in the upcoming weeks.

Perfect for home spotlights

The three Philips Hue GU10 bulbs that come with this package are powerful and look amazing, so many colours to choose from where you can also change the brightness of the lights directly through your phone and also turn the lights on/off without having to go to the light switch physically. It was so easy to install and also included was the housing of the spotlights and the socket plugs for installation. Can't wait to buy more of these for my house.

These lights are great, they connect really easily to the app.They gave a freshly painted fairly bland room a touch of wow.

Super lighting!

We have had so much fun with these lights, my kids have loved them! They were very easy to install, we already had spotlighting in our kitchen so the wiring and hole shape was in place so these fitted in perfectly with little installation. I did try and find the lights via the app initially just by searching with the Bluetooth connection but it didn't initially pick them up, however you can easily type in the 6 digit serial number in the side of each spotlight to add them to the app. I spent a long time changing the lights to different colours, my kids kept asking for different colours and we easily changed them with the Philips Hue app. These lights aren't just fun and novelty though, they can really change the ambience in any room, softer lighting when required, ... MoreWe have had so much fun with these lights, my kids have loved them! The ease of changing these with an app on my phone is brilliant, we have the Philips Hue Bridge which works with the lights enabling us to have seamless control over the lighting. I would highly recommend these spotlights for their everyday lighting impact but also their ability to change the feeling in a room with a couple of taps on your phone.

Very fun!

These were super easy (for my partner) to install to our pre-existing spotlights. We connected up using the app and they're straightforward to control. There are some pre-settings with app but it's also fun and easy to create your own! When we have friends over, or parties, everyone wants to have a go at changing the colours. You can connect them up to an Alexa as well as the app. We haven't done this yet, but it sounds like a great feature, and would be good for a more substantial smart home set up. The only downside is that we have quite a lot of spotlights, and these come in a set of three, so we either need to commit to buying more or just have a few colour changing spotlights.
