This range of smart bulbs has really grown over the years and I have a numberdifferent types of these bulbs all over our home. Working with Alexa, Google, Siri and their own app wiz -easy installation, . The much smaller candle bulbs looked fabulous in our living room lights. The light is bright and warm, but not glarey, and worth every penny.Have purchased another two bulbs for our bedroom side table lights and will be upgrading our light bulbs over the next year.

For the right lamps/light fittings these have a great vintage look. Should last for many years. Give off an attractive glow especially when the filament is visible at lower dimming levels. Bluetooth setup easy via the Hue app.

That said, the housing is black in colour and would not be so obvious against a similar coloured fixing.This lightbulb has an energy rating of G. Whilst that is the lowest 'new' energy rating, I find I am dimming my lights more than I ever would have before. This reduces the power to the bulb making them more energy efficient, will help them to last longer and provide better value for money.Overall I am impressed with these lightbulbs and would recommend them to anyone looking to venture into the world of smart lighting.

I have also connected the bulb to my Amazon echo, which means I can turn it off and on using my voice. I have set routines up so it turns on and off automatically at certain times of the night (which is useful instead of using a holiday timer when the house is empty).On the app, you are able to set "scenes" which control the brightness of the bulb. You can also adjust the brightness manually to suit your preferences, since the bulb is fully dimmable. The scenes are a bit of a gimmick, especially for white coloured lights, but they are fun to play around with. The scenes may look better in led lights that can change colours. At first glimpse the packaging is sturdy to help protect the integrity of the lampThe lamps generally fits table lamps and offers competent customisable dimming at the touch of a button on your phone.I already have a functioning Phillips Hue system at home so control the lamps using the Phillips App which is easy to programme and use, although these lamps also offer Bluetooth if you don't have a Hue Bridge, which is equally as simple to use.Although I use the lamps with a shade, given the changeable dimming some may choose to use them exposed, especially on lower light settings.The usability across multiple platforms on your mobile helps add to the value of the product.
User friendly and easy to set-up. Just download the app and it will find the bulb straight away. Bluetooth not WiFi so no problem is internet goes down. The light is bright and warm.
