Thus, I've treated each area around 4 or 5 times so far.I noticed a reduction in the number of hairs growing back even after first treatment, especially on the leg and underarm area. It actually won't fire a flash of light if it detects darker skin tone to avoid burns, which is very clever and reassuring. I found that the areas where I had the most hair reduction, are in fact the areas where the hair is the darkest. My arm hair is quite light and that's where I've had the least hair reduction. However, the hairs that have grown back on my arms are much softer and thinner than before Lumea treatments.I shaved each area before treatment instead of epilating or waxing as I read that the hair needs to remain in the root below the skin surface, in order for it to be effectively zapped. I love the pen trimmer that's included with the device, which I found useful to use on upper lip and facial hair before and in-between treatments.The device itself is comfortable to hold and very intuitive to use. Although it has a cord attached, it doesn't get in the way and it's a good length so you don't have to sit close to the mains. I personally didn't feel any pain whilst using the device, however, on high settings you do feel slight warmth and a sensation like a rubber band snapping, which isn't overly uncomfortable. It comes with three different attachments for body, face and bikini/underarms which are easy to interchange.I would have preferred a more robust storage box/container to a cloth zip bag, since the attachments are quite fragile (the microchip sticks out of each attachment) and could snap easily if squashed which would render them unusable.Overall, I think that it's a fantastic device with which you can achieve long-lasting near-permanent hair removal at a fraction of the cost of salon treatments. It's not for those who expect immediate results, as it takes a number of treatments to notice results depending on your skin/hair type. It takes patience but you won't be disappointed!

This product arrived very promptly. Its instructions are comprehensive, easy to follow and understand, and very descriptive in helping the reader understand exactly how to use it along with many recommendations and safety advice.The heat from the product's light is very gentle and barely noticeable, with a selection of heat settings for your preference. The pulse from the light is very bright even when pressed hard against the skin, which is something worth noting.It will take time for results to show, but from an operational point of view this product provides a very friendly user experience. It is intuitive and easy to operate and simple and clear instructions.

This is my first IPL product and I was worried that I might not know how to use and thus the results will not be effective. However, this product came with very good user manual that has clear instructions to guide me along and the product itself is really simple and intuitive to use! That’s only one button to toggle the different modes and a trigger to press for the light so operation is really easy. Setting 3 is very comfortable on my lower leg and the initial results after the 1st treatment is really promising, so can’t wait for subsequent treatments! This product is cheaper as compared to IPL salons and I can do it anytime I want at home, saves me the hassle from making a trip to IPL salon!
