Amazing for hair cut but bit limited

The cutting speed and battery life is amazing! 3 things need to be improved to get 5 stars: 1. The closeness of cut. Neck clean up and side burns edging cannot get close. Still leaves quite a stubble. Precision of edging as shown in the product marketing is very misleading. 2. There aren't enough attachments for the larger cutting head to be able to fade the sides. The smaller cutting head has an attachment that goes from 3mm to 8mm by 1mm which is helps. Be good if similar was on the larger head too. 3. The sizing on some of the attachments is not ledgible. Have to turn them to just the right angle to get the glare to see if it is 1mm or 2mm etc.

I have deducted one star because of Phillips wasting my time and refusing to publish my previous review because I 'mentioned a competitor'. This is insane because of course people make purchasing decisions based on what else is available on the market, and may compare a shaver to one they have used in the past. OK, so I bought this shaver to replace an aging [rusty kitchen knife] made by [elves in a mountain cave]. The old [rusty kitchen knife] had served me well for many years but was falling apart frankly, and had to be held together with sticky tape to stop the blade catching and pulling hairs. Anyway, it was a pleasure to use the Phillips shaver for the first time. It cuts easily and smoothly with no suspicion of pulling or catching. I mainly used the bare normal-width cutter on my head, and used that cutter with various comb atttachments for the beard. Both worked very well. I think in the end the only attachment I need is the adjustable-length comb attachment. It's really hard to fault this Phillips Series 7000 shaver/trimmer. Just a couple of things: 1. In common with the [rusty kitchen knife] I used before, it is possible to accidentally turn this item on in a bag when travelling, but unlike the [rusty kitchen knife] I cannot take the batteries out to prevent this when travelling, so I will have to devise some way of overcoming this problem. The ON/OFF switch in fact is very flat and very easy to activate inadvertently. A shame the designers did not think of this. 2. The main trimmer attachment does not shave as close as the [rusty kitchen knife] from [those famous elves] I had used before, but life is short and so is the number of days a really short trim will stay short, so it's fine. 3. I think it is a bit weird these days to make a product that cannot be charged from a stadard USB charger point, or from a computer USB socket. Keep up, Phillips! Otherwise it's a good bit of kit. I have read reviews saying that these Series 7000 shavers have been failing suddenly electrically after a few months, but I decided to take a punt, and I'm glad I did. I've made sure to take advantage of all available (free!) extended warranties from Phillips, by registering the product, etc, so if it does flake out in that period they should send me a new one, and I'm happy with that. In short, it's a good shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far one of the best electric razors I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The main razor includes a wide range of heads (including a nose trimmer). It's the first time I've used the Philips OneBlade which is included with this bundle and it's like using a real shaving blade with all the benefits of an electric one - including being able to use it in the shower! I've been using both shavers for a little while now and have had no issues with cuts or grazes when shaving. I use the main shaver for the bulk of my hair (beard, front and back) and then the OneBlade for creating a sharp edge. I'm really impressed with the bundle and have no negatives to comment on. Fantastic all in one trimmer
20 April 2022

Looks great, feels solid and it's easy to use. I love the battery life, case and the fact it can be used wet or dry. There is room for improvement. It would be nice if the cleaning brush had a home on the right side of the case as its something that is used frequently. Its a little inconvenient to find it in the mesh pockets on the left. Also the battery indicator doesn't say much when the unit is running (no led indicator). Going by the manual it only flashes orange once the battery gets low, flashes white when charging and turns off when fully charged. I hope a decent amount of running time is left once the orange light starts flashing. A battery bar indicator or better yet, a battery percentage indicator would eliminate a low battery anxiety. Overall it's still a ... MoreLooks great, feels solid and it's easy to use. I love the battery life, case and the fact it can be used wet or dry. There is room for improvement. Good product but could use additional accessories

I was very excited to use this product, I previously owned an older version of the Multigroom series (the QG3384) and this version seemed much more of a premium product. I greatly enjoy the stainless steel body and textured grip. The shave is also very smooth so far and I found it easy to hold and maneuver as necessary around my face. However, the longest guide for the beard trimmer attachment is 7mm. I prefer to keep a longer beard and that's shorter than I would like. My previous Multigroom razor had a beard trimming guide which was adjustable from 1-18mm which, although not as attractive, was far more functional for my shaving preferences. I also tried looking online to see if supplementary guards would be sold, but they do not have them available. Generally I would recommend this product but I would like to see a greater variety of guards available, even if this meant I had to purchase a few of them afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start the shaver comes with a great grey little bag that will fit everything inside of it, the shaver comes with multiple heads for body, hair and beard with the depth (mm) wrote on it. I was very fond of the one attachment that had a built in height adjuster and was very simple to use and made fading my beard into hear very easy. The set allowed me to go from 3 normal products to 2 and even then the grooming tool is just for defined lines which could be achieved with the shaver as the head is thinner and more precise than others. I put the shaver on charge as soon as i got it and it charged fairly quickly, I don't know how much charge it comes with out the box but I've used it 6 times now and not had to charge ... More[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start the shaver comes with a great grey little bag that will fit everything inside of it, the shaver comes with multiple heads for body, hair and beard with the depth (mm) wrote on it. The first cut was hefty with my beard being around 15cm long and trimmed it down to 1cm and it didn't clog up or struggle. Incredibly happy with the performance and would continue to use this product time and time again.

First off, I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. That said, I was extremely impressed by it. Having recently gone through ordering multiple beard and body trimmers (three) that were dead on arrival or did a terrible job, the Norelco Multigroom put all others to shame. Initial impression: out of the box, it was clear it was a cut above the rest. The box it comes in and travel container are of a higher quality than any other I've used. The case has a piece that holds each piece in a mold so it won't get lost or shift during travel. The weight of the groomer and quality of the stainless steel is also apparent from the get go. I really like that it has an indicator that flashes when it is charging so you know it is actually being charged, as others have not had that feature which seems like a no- brainer. Use: It was very smooth and easy to use, popping off different attachments was easy and using it to shave my head was a breeze. It didn't pull on my hair or leave red marks like other shavers have and the battery lasted throughout with ease. Of shavers and trimmers I've used, they often pull or grab at hair that makes it uncomfortable or painful, so it was refreshing that this groomer had none of those issues. I like the nose trimmer and multiple attachments as well, definitely always a positive to have more than fewer. One con however is that I wish they had one length trimmer that was attachable and adjustable rather than multiples that have to be replaced for different lengths, I've found for my beard there isn't one short enough for the length I prefer to keep it at (about half a centimeter) so I was forced to use a different trimmer for that which was disappointing, especially for the cost. Price: I do find it a little expensive for what it is, but that said you get what you pay for and others that I've bought have let me down significantly compared to this one so I would say it justifies its cost overall. Overall I'm pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality mutligroomer.

Multigroomer Chrome MG7770/15 Review
22 August 2022

This is the second Multigroomer Chrome MG7770/15 I have bought from Myer. I lost my first one while travelling. After having multiple cheap shavers previously I wanted to buy a quality shaver that would last. This one has never disappointed. It holds and retains its charge for months, doesn't require much servicing and provides a clean shave as expected. If I somehow loose this one I'd most likely buy it a third time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For what I use this product for, it is sensational. I have had stubble for a long time, but the shavers I've used previously have inconsistent beard lengths or leave neck hairs. Not so with this shaver. For my stubble the adjustable length comb is perfect and allows me to quickly change lengths for my chin as the hair there is thicker and needs a shorter length blended into my cheeks. The actual shaver is brilliant for speed of cutting and the sound is quiet which can't be said for many shavers. The one blade then allows me to removed all the hair from my neck and gives perfect lines on my neck beard and cheeks. Does not feel plastic nor cheap and feels like a quality pieces of kit. The main razor works incredibly well and trims my beard without pulling or snagging. The nasal trimmer works well and also works as expected in ear. The battery life is good and does not take too long to charge. I have used other multigroom razors in the past, however, since using the Philips Multigroom series 9000 12-in-1, I wont be going back! The smaller razors is also good, however, when using it without attachments, it does not cut as short as I hoped. The attachments come in useful and provide a good cut.
