I purchased this for shaving my face primarily and some manscaping so I can’t speak to any of the attachments for trimming the hair on your head. That said, it’s a decent razor for trimming your beard and giving you the 5 o’clock shadow look which is how I use it. It has a decent balance to it and it was a good value for all you get. I would recommend it for this use.

Section on Body Shaver use in the manual in English in the box.Under item 2 the reference is to a wrong part (full-size hair trimmer) instead of 'body shaver'. Confusing to a first time consumer. Should be corrected and manuals should be better proof read.

I purchased this for shaving my face and some minor manscaping so I can’t speak to the accessories for cutting the hair on your head. That said, I think this razor does a good job of keeping up with the 5 o’clock shadow look that I like. The razor has a nice balanced weight to it. I think it was an excellent value for all that you get. I’ve only been using it for about a month so I can’t speak to how it will hold up over the long haul, but I suspect that it will do fine, it feels very solid. I would definitely recommend it.

Had an old version of 7000 series with one attachment covering 3-20mm or so and in this set, there are multiple attachments to cover the same range though more rugged. However, the old one does not have the side ear cut attachments (2 of them shown in third row in picture) making the old one incomplete and new one too many to use.
Does a great job for what I need, but the power switch is in a terrible location. When I travel with the shaver, the power button gets depressed and it will run the battery down in my suitcase. It's also a challenge when changing attachments.
This is a complete kit - it has every grooming tool that I need for hair, face and body hair. The unit is powerful; it charges quickly and easily. The manual is detailed enough to be able to figure out how all the attachments are used. I keep the main unit, with the attachments I use most frequently in the bathroom medicine cabinet. The other attachments are in the storage case (provided) nearby. I couldn't be more satisfied.
Clean trims each time used. No pulled hairs, no matter which attachment is used. The charge seems to last forever. The only issue I have is the on/off switch. When changing the position of the trimmer in my hand, I inadvertently turn the thing off. A different type of switch that isn't as sensitive is needed, IMO. Also, it seems hard to believe that oiling the trimmer is not required. I still want to do it once in awhile. Old habits are hard to break. (I hope this isn't doing any damage.)
Have used Philips beard trimming products for year and have been very happy until I bought this one through Costco. Functionally, it works great but the location of the power switch is terrible. Constantly turning it off during use. I am surprised this made it through your design review meetings? You've got to do better in the future.
Best grooming kit we have ever bought!! My wife and I both use it!! The charge is fast and last a long time. Really happy that we bought it!!
Love the quality of the machine. It does the job as expected. My major issue is the ON/OFF switch (button),the button design and location only good when shaving beard. Because the button is raised and it is double action (press = on/off) while it is located in the middle of the grip, it's almost impossible to avoid turning off the machine while shaving. Plus its very uncomfortable for the hand wrist/fingers to hold one position while trying to shave. which results wrist fatigue and turning the machine on / off several times while shaving (head and body not beard). i would recommend to a one action switch, Up = on , Down = Off. Place the switch at the bottom of the machine. or the same Double Action switch but buried, away from hands grip.
