A kid's haircut wouldn't be a bad idea, either. The maneauverability, lightness of weight, and, in my opinion, safer design, make it great for kid's haircuts.Overall I rate his product a 10/10. If you treat it with care, it'll perform everytime, on time. Great little trimmer, it makes trimming my beard easier and more fun than attempting to use my otherwise awesome hair trimmer. Keep these little guys around, I can't recommend them enough!

The battery life was decent, providing a few sessions before requiring a recharge. However, the build quality felt somewhat flimsy, and the attachments could have been more durable. Overall, the Multigroom 3000 is a decent option for basic grooming needs but falls short in terms of precision and durability.

Purchased this awesome set for my hubby based on the reviews and so very happy that I did! Extremely sharp for precise trimming as well as versatility to trim beard and sculpt. No oiling needed for maintenance which is another huge plus. Love the pouch option to hold the accessories which is yet another great versatility for storing anywhere. Rechargeable so that it really holds a super long charge. Very comfortable to use to achieve your best look. The price is unbeatable for the quality and Wal-Mart can't be beat as far as shipping and customer service. Highly recommend!

In the box youll get the trimmer, 3 ft long charging cord, storage bag, three different blade heads, and seven different sized guards. The storage bag is kind of an afterthought and is a cheap feeling material with a plastic zip bag style zip top. Its doubtful the bag will hold up to lots of traveling. The white grease that comes dobbed on the heads can also easily get all over the other accessories once you put it all in the bag (see attached pic). Assuming over time that grease will end up being gone and no longer lubricate the trimmer properly. The only difference I can see via the manual is that the 60 has 15 minutes more runtime. So I guess Norelco put a bigger battery in one of them and decided it wasnt worth telling the buyer which one they get. So I guess its random chance? Strange. The guards have printed sizes in millimeters which are quite difficult to read. The user also has to translate to the normal guard sizes for trimmers by looking at the manual. The sizes are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 16 mm, which translates to ½, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 normal guard sizes roughly. Make for sure you don't accidentally think you're putting standard #5 on when in fact it's 5mm! I personally normally use a 6 or 8 for a longer beard, so if you have a longer beard this isnt the trimmer for you. A quick search showed that larger guards are not available separately either, nor do the higher model number Norelco face trimmers (the 5000 or 7000 series) have larger ones either. Theres no indicator that the trimmer is charging or that its fully charged, the manual just says it takes 8 hours to fully charge. So if youre out of juice youre not trimming your face for a while. The trimmer does operate with the cord plugged in but its unclear if it will do so on a dead battery. A standard USB-C or something might have been nice to have over the barrel jack. Overall this trimmer performs great for the price and has the appropriate accessories for most face trimming needs.

This is the last Philips trimmer I plan on buying, but so far it has held up, and gives a decent trim. The battery life seems pretty good and it has plenty of power to cut through, rather than pull, the hair. It also has self sharpening blades. This one advertises that it doesn't need oil, but that's because it's almost completely plastic, including the blades. Very noisy by comparison and light weight, so it feels cheap in my hand. It works well enough for the price, but it doesn't feel as gentle as I'm used to. The heads and attachments aren't as nice either. I don't expect it to last long. If you want to save a buck or try out a rechargeable trimmer, this is not bad. But if you're like me and prefer a tool that will stand the test of time, I'd recommend looking into a brand with metal blades and a reputation of quality to ... Before the trimmer stopped working about a month after purchasing it, the quality of trim was probably at best average. The trimmer was in working order and it operated as it was designed to. The trim just wasn’t close enough based on past experiences with a comparably priced Wahl trimmer. The trim guards also were not numbered. You have to test which will cut shorter because some look the same length but have no identifiable numbering system. I will be submitting for reimbursement of the cost of purchase. I think there is a warranty. Either way I will have to go back to a Wahl trimmer. I really was looking for an alternative to Wahl. This Philips trimmer is not the one.
