360 Blades don’t fit the Face+Body clip-on guides

So, 360 blades are not compatible with the clip-on guides, but not usable without the guides. Obviously, I cannot return the blades because I didn’t discover this incompatibility until after I opened the package and attempted to use them — thanks to the lack of any notice or warning on the packaging that these replacement blades are incompatible with prior models. I’m going to assume most retailers have stopped, or will stop, selling the standard replacement blades and only stock the new 360 blades. So get ready people: you can either buy a new 360 One Blade handle for $30 and a 360 Face+Body Kit for $20, or attempt to order the old style blades online and hope the seller doesn’t send you the new, predominant 360 blades — erroneously thinking replacement 360 blades are interchangeable.

Very cheap and fragile

So I bought this item thinking Norelco has been a good brand over the years and on the box they clearly state product has 45 day worry free trial period. It was a BIG MISTAKE. So first off this product is increadibly cheaply made. Everything you touch from the dial to the start button is poorly made, cheap, plastic. The "snap on" dial feels like it could break at any second and is thin plastic and overall this is low quality junk. So I was going to return with their 45 day free no worry policy but that is basically a scam too. You have to call their 800 number to get a form that you fill out (so now you're going to end up on telemarketing lists I'm pretty certain) then fill out form and send item back via insured mail with original sales receipt and insurance is ... MoreSo I bought this item thinking Norelco has been a good brand over the years and on the box they clearly state product has 45 day worry free trial period. So you buy this $20 shaver and spend $10 to return it and two months later you might get your money back. Very sad, Norelco used to be a great company but I'll just throw this in the trash and buy a better made product from another company (NOT norelco). The product works but feels like it's going to break pretty quickly. Again there is nothing but flimsy cheap plastic over this entire product and the snap on components.

[Rewarded Review] 360 blade carts are the star of this package

This a pretty good product!I have been a OneBlade user for a while, but it was body razer for when I couldn’t find my manscaper blade or was using one of my already used cartridge razers. The older OneBlade I used to use was not very flexible in the angles that I could use the razor so I was glad to move up to this OneBlade 360 product. This updated OneBlade is essentially the same as other OneBlades so if you already have a OneBlade, you might want to just buy the 360 OneBlade cartridges on their own which is an economical way to upgrade the OneBlade that you already have. This new package includes a 360 OneBlade and a fairly compact 5 length comb that I wish you could buy separately. The comb attaches to your 360 or original OneBlade razer cartridge and turns it into an adjustable clipper. It’s not a strong clipper, so take your time going through thick hair. I thought it was less bulky and easier to use than the dial comb in the OneBlade Pro set, but with less options, equivalent to 1-5 of a barber’s selection of clipper combs. The big deal about this set is the 360 blade, which is much improved over the previous set. Since it flexes its angle as you use it, you won’t get pulled hairs as often if you don’t maneuver the handle perfectly. It’s a massive improvement to me over the previous generation.I wish that the set included a “stronger” movement that cut through thick hair easier, but since none of the OneBlades offer that, you aren’t getting much practically over any other version of the razer handle. If you already have a OneBlade, don’t buy this… get the blade carts instead. If you don’t have a OneBlade yet, this one and the pros are fairly equivalent when using the same 360 blade so either save some money with this, or upgrade for the add’l accessories. I do recommend the system now you have a lot of choices to get in based on your needs!

[Rewarded Review] Did Not Meet Basic Shaving Requirements

For the past 10 years for my face I have either use a 3-bladed disposable razor, or my rechargeable electric razor (non-Norelco). For my current beard (goatee) I use a separate adjustable rechargeable beard trimmer I use monthly. Will add I have a 3rd device for my nose hairs, and a 4th device for my outer ear hair. For my current beard (goatee) I use a separate adjustable rechargeable beard trimmer I use monthly. Will add I have a 3rd device for my nose hairs, and a 4th device for my outer ear hair. Thought I would give the Norelco 360 OneBlade Face a try to determine if I could use one device to replace three of my current hair removal devices.FACIAL HAIR: I will acknowledge that the OneBlade description states it will not shave as close as a blade and that is accurate because it doesn’t. I will concede it is close enough after repeated use, just not as close of a shave as my electric shaver. The OneBlade is easier to maneuver versus my electric shaver, but I do have to be more careful not to get too near to my goatee because it clipped hair I wanted to keep. Also note that it has a much smaller head versus my electric shaver, so it takes almost twice as long to use for a similar face shave.GOATEE / BEARD: Using the adjustable 5-in-1 comb attachment to trim my beard hair was a total disappointment. It did not perform anywhere as well as my current rechargeable (non-Norelco) beard trimmer. The trim height adjustment rolls fairly easily and stays in place at the chosen level, and it was easy enough to select a cutting length. But it did not trim evenly, and I had to go over my beard many times to get all the straggler hairs it kept missing.EAR HAIR: Work for me to remove outer ear hair without cutting sensitive ear skin.NOSE HAIR: Ahhhh, didn’t go there…ACCESSORIES: Adjustable 5-in-1 comb. A blade/head cover. A USB-A Charging cable (note, a charging power adapter is not provided). A paper printed foldout instruction leaflet. There is one 360 Head included, but I don’t consider that an accessory because it would not be functioning razor without one. Provide a second head and that would be an accessory.REPLACEMENT 360 ONEBLADES: I cannot leave without mentioning the very high cost of the replacement heads; about $30 including tax for two. Norelco advertises these heads can last up to 4 months. But wait for it… That is with only using 2 times a week. If you “do the math”, that works out to 8 times a month or 32 times over a 4-month period. Therefore if you shave daily, then the 360 head life expectancy is one month, and nowhere near four months. Bottom line, very expensive to use daily for shaving, at least in my world.BOTTOM LINE: Overall, the OneBlade Face produced unprofessional results failing to meet my basic shaving requirements or new product expectations. Due to the high replacement head costs, married with the less than impressive beard trimming results, this Norelco OneBlade 360 Face will be demoted to my travel shaving kit to be used only occasionally. Its primary asset is that it is smaller in size and it can replace 3 of my shavers versus taking a full-sized electric shaver on the go, so it does have that going for it. But for daily use, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

[Rewarded Review] Great shaver but missing a few key items in the bo
3 March 2023

With the COVD years, I was one of those men that stopped shaving regularly and grew facial hair. It was partly a new thing to try and partly just laziness. And once you grow it out, shaving even occasionally becomes an even bigger chore, its a self sustaining cycle. This shaver/trimmer though has made me like shaving again. It sounds cliche, but the ease with which I can get a clean shaven look from a full grown beard is a great trick to have in your pocket(bathroom). I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I did try it with shaving foam once, and that was a big mistake, unlike a razor once you glid this through the foam, the foam doesn't automatically come off with the blade, it just mixes in, so its really hard to gauge what's going on under there, if I am leaving patches or getting a good clean shave. It even left multiple little nicks which caused blood to drip out. I could not feel any of it at all till I wiped it off with water, but since there was still foam after multiple rounds on the same spot, I could not guage my pressure or work clearly. I don't blame that completely on this device, but perhaps shaving foam not the best idea with this. The biggest surprise for me though is that it actually looks better than a normal razor, again I am no expert in the art of facial hair shaving, but since you move this both ways, you are shaving both with the grain and against the grain simultaneously, giving you a cleaner look. I might have to do some research if that's actually good for me in the long run. Now, coming to the accessories and the charging. All you get in the box is a USB cable without a wall adapter. So you need to have your own. Not the biggest complaint, but I hate the trend Apple has started. In the name of accessories all you get is a 5 length comb, which is just OK for different uses. Its not the best at arm pit or other sensitive areas since you can't get as close as you might want to.Overall its a good device, but you might end up needing to but a few other helping items to complete your set.

You get one razor blade with a travel razor guard, an adjustable guard with five length settings, and a usb charging cable. There are a set of instructions that I actually read before use because I wanted to make sure I got the most out of this shaving experience as possible… So with that, it says to fully charge the battery, it must charge for 8 hours!?! I was initially put off by that fact and realized it comes with NiMh battery that lasts only upto 45 minutes on an 8 hour charge. I am not happy about that fact but I guess when I’m not using it, it should be charging. Also, there is no low battery indicator by light or any signal other than the blade operating more slowly. These two points I can get over if at least it proves to be a good shaving experience. The handle is very light and the blade once attached pivots and flexes fairly easily. It fits into the hand very nice and the power button is easily pressed. It is a little noisy for such a small device but no more than a typical hair trimmer. It took a little practice for the first couple of passes to get the proper use of the double sided trimmer blade which allows you to shave in both directions. You’ll have the feeling or need for speed when using this thing but it is best to take your time and move slowly and smoothly over the skin. As it will not cut you like a normal straight razor, I did get caught up on some coarse hair and a little nick but nothing compared to a typical razor. The blade is also fairly small which makes for the long haul but precise cutting. When cutting thru longer hair and not using foam or water, it is thrown out with no regard and does require a cleanup afterwards. So to avoid this you can actually use shaving foam in conjunction with this blade. I do love the fact that I can use it wet or dry which makes it especially handy for travelling. The shave is pretty close but does not give that baby face feel as it leaves a slight stubble but a clean look. I found myself trying to angle the blade but it is not made for that as I read in the instructions. It is either flat running or 90` to get that precise edging. I shave my facial hair down pretty low most of the time so I could not tell you how well the adjustable guard works for longer beards, but I did use it for my low cut and it makes for a worry free cut evenly across the plane of haie.Overall a great product for the traveler or the guy who wants to get precise edging without the irritation and nicking of the traditional blade. Economically I can see this saving me a ton not having to purchase blades so often but only time will tell.

[Rewarded Review] Handy and powerful, pocket sized facial trimmer
17 February 2023

The Philips Norelco OneBlade is a handy pocket sized facial trimmer, not much larger than a conventional razor. It has a simple, ergonomic design in a color that you aren't going to lose, a fluorescent green color! It comes with a single blade, a protective case for the blade, a 5 setting trimming guide, a USB charging cable and the main unit itself.I charged the unit fully before using for the first time. Inserting the blade is very simple, slide it in place and click to secure. There is a quick release button to be able to remove and change the blades quickly as well. According to Philips, the blades last up to 4 months, based on shaving twice a week. According to Philips, the blades last up to 4 months, based on shaving twice a week. That is about my shaving cadence, so we'll see how that works out.My initial experience, after shaving with a close wet razor for years, was a little challenged. I haven't cut myself shaving in many years now, but the very first time with this OneBlade, I did end up cutting my neck with it. Totally could have been user error, getting to grips with the new razor, but just wanted to let it be known.I've tried dry shaving and wet shaving with this OneBlade. So far the results are decent, not perfect, but decent. It does give a close shave, just not quite as close as a regular razor, and I've found that shaving my neck, I have to go over it several more times than I do with a regular razor. The packaging also states, 360 blade... technically, you can get to and use both sides of the blade, so you can get a shave both ways, but the blade does not swivel 360º if that was an assumption you may have had. It does move in and out, it pivots in place, it does rotate an amount as well. The 5 setting trimmer feels a little bit of a novelty on this razor, I am not sure I would trust it 100%. It feels like it could pop off at any moment resulting in a comedy shaving error. I will state that hasn't happened to me, but that's what it feels like with the attachment on the OneBlade.Overall, this is a nice, compact facial trimmer, enabling you to trim down an unruly beard, edge it all up and make it neat, or to shave it off. Just be careful if you are switching from a regular blade to the OneBlade, the transition may take a moment, but overall, a nice product.

[Rewarded Review] Nice companion to the shave routine!

So, over the past few years since I started working from home all the time, I will say that my normal shaving cadence has stretched out quite a bit. My electric shaver does great after two days, but once it gets past that, there are some comfort issues unless I go over my entire face once going with the grain of my beard (to allow the middle trimmer style blade to reduce the size of the stubble), then the normal shave. This was a better alternative than using the pop-out trimmer to do the first pass as that wasn't the most comfortable. While I had seen the original OneBlade before and was intrigued, I just wasn't sure if I really needed something like that. This was a better alternative than using the pop-out trimmer to do the first pass as that wasn't the most comfortable. While I had seen the original OneBlade before and was intrigued, I just wasn't sure if I really needed something like that. Now, with the new OneBlade 360 series, I figured I would give it a try.The handle for the OneBlade 360 Face is a good size. It has the push-button on/off and an single LED battery indicator (to give you a basic idea on how much charge is left). There is a textured rubber grip, which is nice (but can make it a little harder to clean the trimmed hair off). On the bottom, there is the charging port for the USB-A to proprietary port cable (and by the way, it does not come with the USB charging block, so hopefully you already have one available). The blade on the new OneBlade 360 is very similar to the previous version, but now it has added side-to-side tilting along with front-to-back tilting with the idea to allow it to follow the contours of your face as you use it. While I understand the idea, I personally don't see any benefit (at least for the side-to-side portion) as it takes quite a bit of pressure to get it to tilt and it actually gets a bit uncomfortable (the corner areas outside the cutting blade edges will start to push into my skin). Just a general guiding along my face to trim everything is all that is really needed. It does come with an adjustable comb for keeping your beard at just the right length. Now, the main functionality of the blade, the beard trimming, is great. It isn't designed to give an extremely smooth shave, but in my experience, it does get it down to a 10-12 hour shadow. It works fairly quick, and as an improvement over my previous process, it doesn't really leave any missed hair. I've tried using it several times, with the beard length ranging 3-4 days, and there is not an issue with the length. With using it as a pre-shave trim down, it allows me to get the final pass with my regular electric shaver done very quickly (about a minute). While I'm not too keen on the "360" aspect of the blades (which you can get the non-360 replacement blades that will still work with the handle), the overall functionality is a great first step in my lazier shaving process.
