Im pleasantly surprised at how great this iron is. Not only does it looks sleek but the technology put into it is astounding. I work in healthcare so im always ironing uniforms, usually it takes me a while to iron them as id have to wait a couple minutes for the iron to heat up, get it to the right temp so i dont burn anything, but with the philips iron all i have to do is turn it on and the rest is done for me. All i had to do is wait for it to heat up which is quick and then i can just iron without having to adjust temperatures its such a time saver! Id recommend this product to most people, its perfect for families as ironing would be quick and easy, no temp changes no waiting, but id also recommend it to people living alone its genuinely a very clever and handy iron to have its well built, the technology put into it is amazing and not to mention you get plenty of space to fill up liquid for the steam option. Its also the perfect size to put away anywhere, so even if you have a small space, this iron will absolutely fit it. Overall the rating for this product is a solid 5 ! Other than the steam button being on the bottom of the handle and me pressing it from time to time its absolutely perfect, im amazing and know that this iron is very long lasting which is great!

I really enjoy this aspect because it takes all of the thinking process out of ironing; it doesn’t matter if the next item at the top of the pile is a shirt, a jumper or a pair of jeans - the iron automatically adjusts its performance accordingly.To be cheeky, I tested out what would happen if I left the iron on (an old) shirt and it didn’t burn either. This has never been something I’ve done myself, but I’m sure that this is a feature which would help a lot of people out there in busy homes.In conclusion, ironing still isn’t my favourite thing to do, but this iron makes it 100x better! I like the smaller size. It's not big and bulky. My previous generator would drop steam water all over the floor whilst I was ironing. This doesn't drip at all. It's definitely far quicker and it stores away easily. Overall I'm very happy with it.

It is the super lightweight, heats up fast, it’s compact and most importantly it irons everything great.I found after lots of use it became annoying to move it every morning so I would recommend having it in one place that it lives from the day of purchase.The tank cord could be slightly longer and the tank size could be slightly smaller, but this is just a personal preference. I think the tank would be perfect if you are someone who does a reasonable amount of daily ironing or doesn’t want to change the water all the time.One great safety feature is the ability to lock the iron in place on top of the tank. I would say the Phillips Perfect Care 6000 is a fantastic iron it’s very easy to operate and the iron itself glides over clothes with ease. It’s a very lightweight iron that gets through piles of ironing effortlessly.The water tank it big enough to handle large loads of ironing without needing refilling, the tank itself is quite heavy which is as expected, it could do with some rubber feet on the bottom of the tank to help keep it secure to whatever surface you’ve placed it on or maybe even a small built in clamp to clamp it to the ironing board.The steam this iron generates is excellent and can easily take the creases out of shirts in seconds, one of the features I really enjoyed was the steam boost if you double tap the steam button, this was very helpful and ... When using you may need a little time to adjust to the ‘blow off’ of the pressurised steam as when you take your finger off the button there is a long output of steam that is slightly delayed and if like me you are used to lifting the iron off the clothes after use this can be a bit daunting and means you need to take extra care. The iron is obviously designed to be left on the ironing board which may not be second nature if you are moving across to a steam generator, but this is a habit I need to grow into rather than putting it back on its stand like a traditional iron.Overall, I am very happy with the performance – it just takes a little time to adjust your ‘technique’ to get the most out of it.
