I mated these to classic 3 spoke light units and am very pleased. They made a huge difference from the original candles in a jar that the car did have. Pricey if I'm honest but they are worth paying out for. Hopefully they last as long as my originals

Fitted to the car and noticed an immediate difference in brightness, not quite as good as expected though but certainly an improvement. More noticeable on full beam really. Unfortunately after just 3-4 months use one of the bulbs has already gone. So I can't really recommend these if I have to buy two packs a year at ten times the price of a single bulb!

For around 4 months of daily driving these light bulbs works great and much brighter than the factory one in my Nissan Note E12. The light bulbs are road-legal and should be the best price and brightest for halogen, it just cost around 20 finest pounds but got you a clear and far vision when driving in the nighttime. Hopefully it can last over 18 months.

Doesn't perform as expected. Fitted in an 07 plate Grand Vitara as I beleive the bulbs to be original (14yrs old) Alas there is no apparent increase visability for the driver. Choose another option.
These bulbs are really good while they are working but after buying two sets I can honestly say they don't last very long, the last ones lasted 5 months before I had to replace one, the previous set lasted around a year. I may be just unlucky but I won't be buying any more.
The suggestion that there is a 200% improvement is somewhat of a pretty big stretch. I cannot say there is that level of improvement or even close to that. They are a little better and a bit whiter but if you think they are suddenly going to get up to Bi-Xenon or LED you will be sadly disappointed. Perhaps in a dark country lane you will see a nice difference but in street lit roads...not going to do it for you. They are easy to replace the originals as the fittings are good and cost wise not too expensive; but I cannot really say I would recommend these.
Excellent bulbs with a very obvious improvement in brightness over the standard headlight bulbs. Much whiter light too. Should make driving after dark much more pleasant.
Replaced the candles in our Citroen C1. Amazing, I can see where I am going now. In this instance I would say these lamps are twice as bright as the original fitment.
These philips headlight bulbs are definitely much brighter and have a clear white light, not like the yellowish white of my previous ones.
first set I got lasted less than 6 months, could be my van though as it is always the N/S bulb that blows, never the O/S one? Will see if this set last any longer. Also the claim 200% brighter not sure about that as when replaced the blown N/S one with standard cheap H4 could not see any difference in distance or brightness.
