This is the second brush head I've tried from Sonicare. I like the brush heads when they are new. My teeth feel polished after every brush! My concern is that once the brush begins to wear, you have to make sure it's truly getting all of the surfaces clean. I find that I have to turn my toothbrush on again (after the 2 minute timer) and go back over certain areas. Some of my teeth are not flush against one another; some are slightly recessed. What's nifty about this brush head is that as it begins to wear, the blue stripe fades to white so that's a great indicator feature. I would try other brush heads before committing to repurchase this one.

After 2 months of use the toothbrush ran out of battery after 1 or 2 days. I bought this product last July and it is now fully broken (button stopped working and vibrates randomly). I've also struggled to find a way to recycle the brush heads and I now need to dispose of the toothbrush.

Good quality but better value in sale

I bought my rechargeable Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush from Boots over 10 years ago and it still works. I didn't realise, however, the cost of the replacement heads was so expensive. The brush heads themselves are good quality and do the job but I was lucky to have got these in a sale. Having to replace them every 3 months is not cheap so this 8 pack should last me 2 years. You do notice the difference in the cleaning effect with new brush heads.

Lucky Dip For Your Toothbrush
30 September 2024

Have bought these toothbrush heads for many years without complaint, now, a retrograde step by Philips has resulted in fact that the heads are not discernible from one another, because the manufacturer has removed the ability to put different coloured collars around the base of the heads. Now I can't tell which is mine and which is my wifes'.Well done Philips!

Now It's Lucky Dip To Find Your Own Toothbrush
30 September 2024

Have bought this SKU for many years and have been very happy, not only with the dental hygiene provided, but with fact that users could differentiate one another's brush heads, by virtue of coloured collars attached to bottoms of brushes. (See attached photo)Now in its infinite wisdom, Philips has decided to dispense with the aids to differntiate my brush from my wife's… welcome to Philips' Lucky Dip as to whether you pick up your own brush!

The toothbrush itself is great. However these toothbrush heads are pretty basic and VERY expensive for what they are, even on sale, especially compared to other brands.

Replacement Heads No longer needed
21 August 2023

Date of Registration: 18 Aug 2021Contact ID: UG002cxnsDear Customer Services Team,I purchased Philips 9000 Sonic Electric Toothbrush Pink Product no: HX9911/53 on 17 Aug 2021 for £170.00 attached with extended warranty until 17 Aug 2024.Unfortunately, the start button is now failing to reset properly, causing a lot of noise and working erratically, it would appear that this malfunction will cause a complete breakdown of the Toothbrush in time.I look forward to your assistance to rectify this problem as soon as possible.Best wishes,Alan Kemp

[Rewarded Review] Feels like they are made to measure
20 May 2019

I have had my Sonicare toothbrush for a couple of years now and I would never go back to a non-electric toothbrush..The heads are equally as important and as expected, these 4 replacement brush heads are of the same high quality as the brush itself. Guidelines state that heads should be replaced every month and these have a line of blue bristles which fade to white to let you know when the brush requires to be replaced. I am still on my first head so can’t comment on this visually but it is a great concept. To attach the head, you simply push on to the toothbrush and you are ready to go. I have never experience such a fit with a toothbrush head before and this is easily my favourite feature. The brush is a medium hardness and regardless of the program used with the toothbrush, my teeth feel very clean at the end of each brush. Each head in the pack comes with its own plastic cover which is excellent for hygiene purposes as my brush sits on display in its charger glass.

[Rewarded Review] Great Quality Toothbrush Heads
23 May 2019

My teeth and gum health is very important to me so I was intrigued to try these Sonicare tooth brush heads. I am really quite impressed with them. I was able to get into all the hard to reach areas of my mouth and it left my teeth feeling really clean. The bristles are firm but not too firm that they hurt your gums. I've been using about 6 weeks and I really think it has helped me to prevent plaque and also helped whiten my teeth when using whitening toothpaste with the brush heads. I really like them and have been converted.
