I have just purchased the 8000 series steam iron and am completely blown away by it.It is so easy to use and the results are outstanding. I used to loath doing our ironing, but not anymore. I finished our full basket of ironing in no time at all and the results from minimal effort are exceptional. It knocked out serious creases from linen with a simple glide over.Yes it’s a lot to outlay for an iron, but you will be rewarded with gaining time back in your busy schedule and beautifully crisp and fresh clothes.

One of the best purchases I've made! The steam generator is absolutely brilliant and halves my ironing time. I've got an average of 15 shirts to iron each week and I definitely regret not buying one sooner. It does a great job on creases and cotton shirts have lots of these. It's reduced my ironing time a lot. The iron is so light and the steam output it's just brilliant. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Now, only 1-2 mins max. The creases simply iron away without any effort at all.I would highly recommend it, though it is very expensive. I feel that the time saved is more than worth it.Perhaps cheaper models are as good.I did buy a slightly bigger and wider ironing board at the same time which was also a good decision.Super king duvet covers are still a bit tricky, but only due to size and I am sure I can learn how to do them more efficiently.

Love this iron
2 July 2022

I love ironing, but hated my old iron. I’d been trying to work out what model to get for months. I ended up getting an 8000 series for many reason. Firstly it turns itself off. This is a big win for me. We’ve had the iron left on all day to many times. I have teenage sons that need to iron school uniforms and work clothes. The work shirts need a low temp and something always goes wrong. I’d go to use the old iron after them for linen and have to struggle to get the setting right. This is no longer and issue. Turn it on and I’m ready to go. The large removable water tank is great. It’s so easy to empty after use. I love that the iron locks onto the base for transporting the iron around the house. The auto movement mode is great. The set and forget. On the run ... MoreI love ironing, but hated my old iron. I’d been trying to work out what model to get for months. My steam generator PSG8040/60
30 December 2024

I've been using this steam generator iron for a few months and have no major complaints. However, it does get noisy during the boiling or steaming process. The plastic components make it feel less sturdy compared to the older model, but I do like the color combination. The ironing performance is decent, and the glide is smooth. I hope the steaming noise can be improved.

One of the best in the market
16 January 2024

Absolutely love this iron. Heats up quick, generates a good powerful amount of steam with little leakage. It’s not perfect in terms of the leakage, it does omit some, but not much at all in comparison to some of the other similar powerful steam generators I’ve used previously. & tends to stop once you get going, therefore, I believe this only happens when the iron is heating up to optimum temperature for steam after it’s initial beep to let you know it’s ready. The iron glides across all clothing and the automatic temperature makes all ironing a breeze. Very comfortable to hold too.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing iron! A real game changer!
13 December 2021

This iron is fantastic, a total game changer! I'm 38, a family of 4 and I usually do my washing in the week and then iron in bulk at the weekend. Previously I have been using a standard iron and it was a such a chore but now it takes half the time and is a breeze! The huge water tank means I don't have to top up water every 15 minutes I actually haven't had to refill it once yet, the steam turns off the moment I stop ironing so there's no water dripping from the iron soaking my newly washed clothes, the steam this iron generates is phenomenal its one heat setting at all times so no need to change it for different materials it's just standard steam for all ironable garments, because the water is in the base and not the iron its very light and the intelligent steam ... MoreThis iron is fantastic, a total game changer! Straight from the box it was so simple to set up and instructions were very clear I no longer dread the weekend ironing pile!

[Rewarded Review] Best thing around for a large family!
13 December 2021

I love this iron so much, normally my husband never does the ironing and leaves it all for the wife to do, but he actually helps out now because it takes minutes to do a load of ironing. With all the children I have it just makes life and mornings so much easier. It has an amazing turn on feature where it beeps when it’s hot enough, and a massive water tank so it will last a while before needing to refill.I’ve never gone out and bought one of these irons of my own back but testing this iron makes me want to buy more if anything ever happened to it.The downside of this iron is it’s quite large so I’m struggling to find storage for it any where haha.So maybe a smaller one and a cheaper one would be amazing for family’s who can’t afford a lot would be amazing.

[Rewarded Review] How did I do without it?
20 December 2021

It seems that in our house there is a constant pile of ironing to be done and it always takes far too long but the Perfectcare steam generator has completely changed this. Initially it did take me a few minutes to familiarise myself with how this iron worked but as soon as I got the knack of it (and fully read the instructions) it was such an easy and quick process to blast through the ironing pile.My sheets were completed so quickly and they were so smooth. We all know sheets are a nightmare to iron but with the Steamcare it was almost a walk in the park. The iron itself is quite lightweight and glides over whatever it is ironing and even better there’s only one setting so it was great not to constantly be changing a settings dial.It does heat to a very high ... MoreIt seems that in our house there is a constant pile of ironing to be done and it always takes far too long but the Perfectcare steam generator has completely changed this. I did burn my hand but that was because I was silly and put my finger in front of where the steam comes out.Overall this is a fantastic addition to a large family home with lots of ironing on the go. I would thoroughly recommend.

[Rewarded Review] The best iron you will ever own
17 December 2021

Let’s start by the looks of this thing. Truly stunning and sleek for an iron. When first taking it out of the box I was surprised how big it actually was, however it still fits nicely on the ironing board.Having never used a steam iron before it was nice to have a light iron opposed to an all in one unit with the water inside. It was very easy to setup and start to use. The steam is great and really help to remove the creases very quickly. My first pile of washing was a load of shirts and it didn’t take long to whizz through them.I don’t think I could go back to a convention iron after using it makes such a big difference to the speed and quality of the ironing.
