Pica Fine Dry Longlife Automatic 0.9mm Pencil allows continuous precision marking without the need to sharpen. The advanced push button mechanism automatically feeds the lead, and the precision mechanism supports the graphite lead to prevent breakage. The durable pencil is made of stainless steel and a special plastic. The body is ergonomic and easy to grip, and the roll stop design ensures that it stays where you leave it. The push button used to advanced the graphite lead also seals the barrel to protect from water and dust intrusion. Included with the Longlife Automatic Pencil is a quiver cap with an extra-strong clip designed for secure attachment so the pencil can be easily withdrawn and replaced with just one hand. A game changer!I also have the standard Pica-Dry Longlife Automatic Pencil, which is great, but if you want to do fine marking, like I do (I’m am cabinet maker by trade), then the Pica-Dry Precise is for you. Not having to constantly sharpen the lead alone, is worth the purchase. Couple that with the fact that the leads last well, don’t break as easily as 0.5 leads and it marks nicely even on lacquered veneered MDF. Plus, it’s super easy to change the leads; pull off the clear top, then pull the rubber off and then slide some new leads in - it’s really easy! It comes with leads straight out of the box, but I’d recommend buying the H pack to go with it, because they’ll last longer than the HB.One negative I’ve found so far. Keep an eye on the tip area. Of course, you can use the Longlife automatic pencil for drawing lines on rough timber, but for everything else, the Precise version is perfect.As a side note, I haven’t used TF Tools before. A colleague recommended them, so I thought I’d give them a try. The website was easy to use, service was great and the delivery was spot on, even though the delivery cost was more than I’d normally like to spend. Either way, the experience of using them was very positive and I will buy again.

An absolute must have.Bought this for myself and my business partner. Both can’t praise it enough! Used the standard pica pencil and other mechanical pencils. This is in a league of its own. One lead lasted over a week. Comes with couple spare leads underneath the rubber. 10/10 for this pencil. This pencil for joiners/ fitters is a no brainer. Highly recommend.

greathonestly i love itno more constant sharpening as i did with the previuos pica pencil.great fine perfect for joinery and second fix. not too thin to be fragile but fine enough for detail
These are greatSo this pencil is what I have been what I’ve been waiting for as it’s perfect for for fine precise work. I have the other pencil which I use for when I’m doing stud work etc as if doing precise work with it I’d need to keep sharpening it all the time. So this pencil had it place in my tool belt.
Loved using the picca pencil so far, as a woodworker I want something that’s precise and hard wearing and so far it ticks both these!
Very good for second Fix. As a carpenter I use this a lot, it’s handy to mark on door locks and handles. Mark anything were needs I thin mark, like marking hinges, locks, boards, and more
Been after something like this for ages. Much more robust than the office type fine pencil. Perfect marking out pencil in the workshop.
Very useful item for those using mechanical pencils or requiring a more precise line. Form factor of the pencil and holder make it suitable for shop and site work. This is designed to be used by tradespeople reflected in the design and build quality, no other mechanical pencil can compare. You wont lose this one in a hurry. Highly recommend
Great addition to my Pica collection. Super convenient lead advancement. Great to have an eraser for the occasional mistake. This is an everyday carry.
