Great VR system. Comfort is great for long periods even though the front can mark the head a little still.I play on PC through virtual desktop and also through the App Store which is growing in games each week.Better optics than my quest 2 which slightly higher FOV.There is a bit of light bleed that comes from the sides. This is due to the facial interface having room for glasses.Colour pass through is impressive, while not full 3d (it kinda is) you can clearly see where things are and pick them up without trouble.I fully recommend this headset. It’s like a quest 2.7Also the clock speed on this is much higher than the quest 2 due to the better cooling. The quest 2 is actually underclocked. (In case you wanted to know)

Received this headset a few days ago and everything seems brilliant. I've previously had the Quest 2 and is definitely as good, if not better. Its a lot comfier to wear for any length of time due to the battery been on the back so not all the weights on the front of your head. The only drawback is there's not as many games/apps yet but there's still plenty to choose from. I've downloaded Kitchen VR and it's a real good laugh, really pleased with it. Easy to set up too so no worries there. Would definitely recommend

I pre-ordered to get this on release day. Wasn’t disappointed (as usual with Very/Littlewoods). The unit arrived and is packaged in a sturdy, neat, and small box. All batteries for controllers are included (4xAA) and the HMD was charged. I’d already downloaded VR Assistant on my phone, and created an account, so I had been able to buy some games (there are free ones, and some for just a couple of pounds each, going up to around £30 max). Sign in is easy, as is setup. The headset is immediately noticeably lighter than the Quest 2. It’s also balanced better, with the battery at the back of the “elite” style headstrap. The pancake lenses (unlike the usual Fresnel found in the Quest and other such headsets) make the front of the unit very thin, as well as light, and so ... MoreI pre-ordered to get this on release day. The pancake lenses (unlike the usual Fresnel found in the Quest and other such headsets) make the front of the unit very thin, as well as light, and so the headset is very comfortable. They also are each given their own screen, with a 4120x4120 resolution. It’s a noticeable bump up over the Quest (which, I must add, I still own and use frequently). Upon loading up, you’re immediately greeted by the home menu which has a very tidy access to features like file sharing and management (even for sideloaded APK’s) alongside the normal library and store that are all right there. Hand tracking isn’t standard at launch, but is found in developer mode (very easy to log into just by going into the settings and turning it on via the proper method, easily found on Google)) there, hand tracking is fully explained and is very well supported. Sound quality is good, around the same as the Quest 2 offers. It’s picture quality and comfort where this headset truly sets itself apart. The unit really stands out. Especially at its RRP. I really recommend it for anyone looking to dip into VR, whether for the first time, or as a returning user.
Excellent unit when it worked better than the Oculus which l owned previously. My unit may have been faulty and Very looked after me for a return. The issue with the Wi-Fi when playing a game it cuts out otherwise quality and features were fantastic
At first I experienced headaches during play. However after some adjustments to the headsets it was fine. Pico 4 has taken gaming to another level it's realistic, fun, and exciting. A must!
Right, just to start with menu - super easy, user friendly. Connecting to PC is quiet simple just follow instructions on the screen ones Pico assistant is installed. Lots of game in Pico store, some FREE! Lots of VR titles in Steam store if you looking for better experience. Really good picture quality and pads super easy to use or learn how to use it. Headset strap can be easy adjusted to fit young kids as well. Great product, recommended.
Let me start by stating this: Pancake-style lenses just do not work well on this headset. The other low-star reviews confused me till I got hands on with this headset which I purchased as an upgrade after my Rift S finally kicked the bucket. The headset feels weightless on your head, controllers are nicely comfortable and well made, software selection is good but limited. The problems I experienced were regarding the lenses, wifi and Pico's customer services. The pancake-style lenses cause the outer 20-30% of the lenses to have a lens flare-like effect caused either by misalignment or a design flaw. The fish-eye nature of the lenses plus this flaring from the screens reflecting and refracting off the lenses basically reduces your FOV to less than what I ... MoreLet me start by stating this: Pancake-style lenses just do not work well on this headset. The fish-eye nature of the lenses plus this flaring from the screens reflecting and refracting off the lenses basically reduces your FOV to less than what I experienced with my Rift S. Also the movement of your head (even in the built-in home world) induced motion sickness, which is really uncommon for me after testing so many different headset and 2.5k hours in my Rift S.The wifi was unbearably unstable on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, with the 5GHz signal dropping out constantly even when in direct line of sight of the router itself. Streaming 4k video even from a fast service like Youtube or Vimeo was unbearably slow to load as the built-in "apps" are no more than just the Pico Browser (similar to the default Android Browser in terms of function).Customer support from Pico's team was poor, very slow responses and even when I did get replies it was very basic level Android device reset/factory reset information, all of which didn't fix the obvious hardware issue. Gave up with trying to communicate with their CS team, and don't expect much luck beyond emails as their only Europe-based telephone number is in Spain.I wanted this to be the big step from my Rift S up to a new headset. Didn't want a Quest 2 because the 3 is due out within a year, and the other headsets on the market are either out of my price range (Index) or offer poor performance and/or customer service (HTC/HTC Cosmos). I would consider Pico headsets in the future if they improved their customer services and the build quality/alignment QC checks on their headsets.
I currently use a Valve index as a main headset. I use VR to stay fit as well as gaming. The drawback to the index is the wires so with the Pico 4 I can now wireless connect to my PC 2 rooms away via my mesh wifi network and stream games direct to the headset. It works well with very little latency that could be fixed with a wire from my pc to the main router but its so minimal it has no affect on the fitness games. I did install some native games to try and they work well. The lenses are crazy clear and the field of view is great. The panels aren't as bright as my Index but its not a big deal for what I am using it for. The headset is well balanced and comfortable but like my Index I ended up getting silicon covers for everything to avoid the foam getting all manky ... MoreI currently use a Valve index as a main headset. Main detractor would be no Beat Saber but I stream that wireless lying from my PC but thats only because Meta purchased the game company and locked it to their ecosystem. Its deff better than the Quest 2 mechanical but the game store is new and needs work to get up to tge library available on other systems. It is a great VR kit and not bad pricing as it comes with a proper strap already and is not a separate purchase like the Quest 2.
The whole family is enjoying various VR Worlds with this awesome device. Light and easy to wear in comparison with most VR Headsets. The Pico 4 store library is growing and hardcore gamers can also stream steam games from their gaming pc or laptop.
