Best bottles for breastfed babies. My 4 week old baby needed top up feeds while i was starting out, and these didnt cause nipple confusion but also helped keep my tongue tied baby thriving. These teats were recommended to us from a lactation consultant who is also a nurse and midwife. We dont need to use these bottles anymore, but will only use these if I need someone to feed baby and I can't be there.

These are seriously the best bottles ever. I wish I'd found them for my first child. I've used these from 3 weeks with my premmie twins and they have been fantastic for them. One of my babies had feeding complications and these bottles were great for her to use. Both babies have taken so well to these bottles. They also go well in a hot cup of water to heat up that liquid gold breastmilk.You can change the flow speed of the teats as your baby requires it, making it the only bottles you will need for your baby, or babies.We will be using the same bottles with our next child. I tell everyone about how fantastic these bottles are. We started off with two bottles to try them out and quickly realised we'd be using these bottles full time because they are so brilliant so we stocked up on more with these twin packs to save some money.I highly recommend getting the Pigeon bottle brush cleaner too. These bottles are excellent! I was previously using the normal bottles with the white necks, but they became discoloured and cloudy in my UV steriliser. I checked on the pigeon website and those bottles are for low use only, not every day rotation for a sustained time. So I upgraded to the PPSU and some glass ones as well, and they are definitely looking like new for much longer. My baby has no trouble with the Pigeon bottles. She took to the number 1 teats super well, struggled with the number 2 S teats but went straight onto the number 3 M teats with ease. I read that number 1 is a small round hole that drips milk very slowly whether she sucks or not; number 2 is a bigger round hole that also drips milk without suction, but drips more and was probably dripping too ... MoreThese bottles are excellent! Number 3 is a Y shaped hole and only lets milk out when she sucks, so she’s in much more control and can have a break when she needs to.
