Enjoy Pilot's popular FriXion ink in a lean pen body. And a lean tip size! The FriXion Ball Slim has a 0.38 mm tip, perfect for everyday writing as well as the tiny annotations you need to cram into the margins of your textbooks. The svelte clip-less profile lets you pile a bunch of them in your pen case with room to spare for more pens and pencils. You can even hang your pen, by stringing a lanyard through the hole in the knocker. FriXion ink is a thermosensitive ink that can be erased by rubbing. To erase, use the special rubber “eraser” tip at the top of the pen and watch the ink cleanly disappear. Interestingly, erased ink reappears at temperatures below 14° F (-10° C). A freezer is cold enough to make this happen. It is like magic ink for adults! Due to the thermosensitive nature of FriXion ink, JetPens advises against using it for mailings, or leaving the written materials in hot cars or in environments that expose them to a lot of friction.

1. Petite but functional.2. My favorite design of all the FriXion pens although the ink is much smaller amount. The little clicker is surprisingly good at preventing to from rolling.3. Uses thermal sensitive ink. (Don't buy this if you live in a place with warm weather.)Since Pilot FriXion uses thermal sensitive ink (or ink that disappear in heat), that is also a flaw. What if you left your notes in the car on a hot day?Well, good bye notes.Life Tip: If your notes disappears, you may get the notes back by putting the notebook in the freezer but they come back as a weird faded gradient color.

I love these slim, fine (extra fine?) point pens for writing in my planner. Since my plans tend to change frequently, being able to erase and re-schedule is a must. Sometimes I get a bit bored of everything being written in pencil though, so the FriXion is a fantastic choice. And since the pen bodies are so slim I can fit several of these little guys in my Lihit Lab Smart Fit Actact Compact Pen Case, in addition to my other EDC picks. The .38mm tip is indeed more scratchy than the .7mm (which I generally use for use at home), but it allows me to write so tiny and fit more into my little planner spaces that I don't mind at all, given the purpose I purchased these for.

I have two Pilot Frixion Ball 07 pens that I love and hoped this would be similar. Unfortunately, it's just too fine to write nicely and feels scratchy. The ink doesn't seem to flow well and the green ink is particularly light, so difficult to read. Where the 07s have a cap, this one is a clicker, which is fine, but it took me a minute to figure out. On the bright side, the erasability is quite good.

FriXion pens are really amazing. I have a small hand so this is great to use for me. Erasing the ink is pretty clean and unnoticeable unless you are writing on a thin piece of paper. It may become slightly wavy with a block of text. It’s really good for writing things like numbers, lists, or other things that have edits.
These pens were not at all what I expected , probably due to my misunderstanding of what I was ordering. When I tried to use them on my crossword puzzles the lines were so faint they were hard to see what I had written. They were very faint and thin. Might have been ok if they left a darker line but I tried them both and just tossed them into the trash. Fourteen bucks down the drain.
I love the light, slim barrel on this pen! I've only tried FriXion pens in 0.5 and 0.7mm tips, and I was a bit worried that the 0.38 would tear or damage the pages in my Hobonichi planners - it does not! It writes really well, and I'm even able to use the eraser if I'm gentle on the paper. My only regret is there's no clip on the barrel to help keep it from sliding out of the pen loom on my Hobo.
We love these pens. Our daughters writing is so much neater with a fine point pen and erasable really really helps. These are the only erasable fine point pens we can find. However they are over priced considering they run out of in after a week. They need to be half the price or hold at least double the ink.
I first bought 20 of these pens 4 months ago as they were the perfect answer to our business needs. Within a few days I started hearing from staff that some of the pens were not working. Within a week 12 of the pens had run out of ink. I thought I must have had a bad batch so I returned them to officeworks where the friendly staff were happy to let me swap them for new ones. By the next week I was returning another 10 to do the same thing. All up I have bought over 80 pens and I think I have cycled through them all. I cannot be the only person having trouble with these particular pens. They seem to only manage writing a total of about 100 words before they die. They are one of the more expensive options so you would expect them to be of a higher standard. If there ... If there was anything else on the market that was erasable, 0.38 fine, retractable and with provision to attach a lanyard, I would jump at it. Very disappointed.
Eraser great, ink is ok. Like usual frixion pens, it has that greyish tint on the ink and since the point is small, I wasn’t sure if it were losing its ink already or the point was just small which sucked for an erasable pen because it didn't have a strong visible ink. Another thing I noticed is that the bottom part kelt getting loose so I have to reseal it each time. Though not much of a big deal for me, these are just things to consider.
I bought one of these pens two weeks ago. It was great and I loved using it, however it ran out of ink within a week, so the friendly team at Officeworks said I could either have a refund or exchange. I gladly took it. Now I have been using this pen for another week, and guess what has happened? It has run out of ink. Again! I am so disappointed at the lifespan of this product and it is definitely not worth the price in my opinion. You would at least expect that the pen would last for at least a month with good use. Mine has not even lasted a week. I am too busy to go back and switch a pen. It was a waste of time and money and I am so disappointed.
