Purchased a week or so ago, assembly was embarrising as panels fex so much you need 6 hands to assemble.Screws slip loose when tightened by hand!! Shelves so loose they fall out at a bump. The top is simply folded and held down with punched ou protruding sheet, but doesnt fully engage so can slip a ginger in the gap and lift off the lid.Disapointing to say the least.

This is the sixth Pinnacle cabinet I have purchased from Bunnings. The design and powder-coating finish of this unit is quite good. Price is OK. However, I would prefer to see height-adjusters on the bottom. You end up having to make your own packers/wedges to level the cabinet. In addition, I don't understand why the doors don't have a handle of some sort. You end up having to leave the key in the lock and use it as the handle to open and shut the doors.

Very neat appearance. Not too hard to assemble. My only quibble is that mentioned by other purchases. There is no handle and you have to use the key as the handle. Delivery was extremely efficient as usual.

Easy and quick to assemble alone (use one hand to screw and the other to hold the pieces it's not difficult), I have other budget flat pack powder coated shelves and benches and the price for this is exactly what is expected, oh I looked and better won't be found for any cheaper no matter how much my wallet wishes it to be so.Some of these other reviews don't seem like the same product or maybe it's just the user, yes it's gloss black, mine gets sunlight on it and it's obvious particularly compared to my others which are matte, multiple people said it doesn't have handles, the first line in the description is 'Full length handles', the entire inner edge of the door is an obvious handle and a toddler could figure that out, and the top piece doesn't just sit there ... MoreEasy and quick to assemble alone (use one hand to screw and the other to hold the pieces it's not difficult), I have other budget flat pack powder coated shelves and benches and the price for this is exactly what is expected, oh I looked and better won't be found for any cheaper no matter how much my wallet wishes it to be so.Some of these other reviews don't seem like the same product or maybe it's just the user, yes it's gloss black, mine gets sunlight on it and it's obvious particularly compared to my others which are matte, multiple people said it doesn't have handles, the first line in the description is 'Full length handles', the entire inner edge of the door is an obvious handle and a toddler could figure that out, and the top piece doesn't just sit there it's screwed in if you pay attention to the instructions! The only downside is having to lock it to keep it closed as the lock also doubles as the latch, a good idea would be a cheap magnetic latch to overcome this which is an easy DIY.
Firstly the description of this and the other Pinnacle cabinets in this is incorrect. They are not "gloss black" They are what is called a hammer tone black or a rough satin finish. This is good as this type of finish does not show scuffs, or minor scrapes & resists scratching. This is good for its intended use in a garage or workshop environment. These take roughly 10 minutes tops to put together after the first of 4 I assembled. The first one took about 15 minutes.Be careful not to be heavy handed with a drill or screwdriver, as the pre drilled holes are to big for the screws supplied, you need to be extremely careful, as all of the holes will strip. The manufacturer needs to drill these holes 2 sizes smaller to at least allow the self tapping screws to bite ... MoreFirstly the description of this and the other Pinnacle cabinets in this is incorrect. The metal is extremely thin, as mentioned by another reviewer, however, for their intended purpose this is fine, but way to thin for the pre drilled holes, most of my self tappers stripped in the first cabinet I assembled.Everything went together very quickly and easily, and the cabinet is very light do move into its end position if you are assembling it somewhere else on the floor.
Have had no issues with it bar a little jiggle of the door needed to lock. Is sturdy, easy to put together, has lasted well for a few years. About to buy a second one, saw the other reviews & decided to weigh in. These flat packs are only as good as the way you put them together. :)
Great cabinet fully assembled. In assembly I found the instructions were not clear enough and had to reassemble some parts but that did not take much time, it was just frustrating. You will need 2 people to assemble to hold parts while another screws the pieces together.
It looks nice and tidy when the doors are closed, takes about 10 minutes to assemble, sturdy and stable, the shelves are easy to change height. The only issue I have with it is that the doors do not stay close unless I lock them. They are always slightly open.
Cons:The first package that got delivered multiple panels were dented, there is no protection eg foam in the package to stop the product from becoming dented when package is being moved, one dent so bad that it prevented me from constructing the tip of the cabinet. The holes on the bottom of the first and second cabinet I ordered weren’t aligned properly so screws didn’t fix in properlyWill possibly tip over if not mounted to the wall, hence it comes with a warning and mount screws but can’t mount it if the skirting board sticks out from wall as too much of a gap between cabinet and wall.On the second cabinet we got the holes were too small so I had to jam the screw into them and work it around a few times until the screw actually fitDoors only close if key ... MoreCons:The first package that got delivered multiple panels were dented, there is no protection eg foam in the package to stop the product from becoming dented when package is being moved, one dent so bad that it prevented me from constructing the tip of the cabinet. The holes on the bottom of the first and second cabinet I ordered weren’t aligned properly so screws didn’t fix in properlyWill possibly tip over if not mounted to the wall, hence it comes with a warning and mount screws but can’t mount it if the skirting board sticks out from wall as too much of a gap between cabinet and wall.On the second cabinet we got the holes were too small so I had to jam the screw into them and work it around a few times until the screw actually fitDoors only close if key in the doorCan’t lock the door properly as the metal mechanism always falls out and it has to be lined up to turn the keyWould not buy again
Useful shed cupboard for general home maintenance tools, works well as does locking mechanism, Slight disappointment when constructing from flat plat with one side panel significantly damaged and requiring some running around to substitute with a undamaged piece.
