I bought these today and a number of issues arose. Firstly the plastic insert and screw are ridiculous. They still slip out of a metal pegboard and do not securely hold the hook. Secondly, the arms do bend from the base plate. I ended up throwing the plastic attachments away and riveting the hook to the board.The idea is good just the manufacturing is poor.

The metal hooks seems good quality but the plastic screws are flimsy. While trying to screw them in I had three of the heads break off the screws! It's a shame because the pegboard is good quality so you'd think they'd make quality accessories as well.
Very poorly made. Arm is only tacked on and could bend with one finger. Plastic screws are also rubbish. Would not recommend. Good for the bin
The plastic screws are complete junk and one they are in you cannot unscrew them as their threads just strip. I had to use a stud extractor to remove them! So throw away the screws and replace them with metal screws of the same size (I used M4 x 12mm) - then the hook works OK.
The plastic screws literally don't fit.The sort of person who buys this sort of thing is handy, which I am, so believe me when I say there is literally no way to make these screws fit, even if you drill out the holes on the bracket to get the screw to fit it, the screws don't expand enough to hold the bracket in.I had to use a wood screw and screw through that hole into a piece of wood on the back of my peg board.The bracket itself is good if you're able to attach it in the manner I suggested.
Like the other hooks in this "heavy duty" range, these come with little retaining clips to lock them down (rather than normal pegboard hooks that can easily be bumped upward and off the board). These clips work great - as long as you immediately remove the supplied plastic screws and chuck them in the bin. It turns out that 8Gx12mm wafer head metal screws are a perfect replacement - matching the plastic clip chamfer and everything. Using these instead (with the plastic clips), these hooks are now rock solid (about 4-5kg at the end before they started permanently bending).
