Had to return, stopped cruise control working on ve commodore, put the old unit which was a pioneer avh-a205bt back in and cruise started working again would not work with this unit, other than that good unit apart from lack of a variable high pass filter.

While your sales people talk about just buying a couple of cables and "plug and play". It is not that simple to wire into a Nissan X-Trail. After spending $175 on extra wiring harnesses and patches, then having to cutting and then solder in extra wires to get the steering wheel controls to work, it is finally working as intended. But it took me many hours of research, plus numerous phone calls to Pioneer and the the harness suppliers to find the solutions. The product seems to be OK as I have only just got it installed today, but the service by your staff and their knowledge of the product only deserves 1 star

I went back to pioneer as I find it easier to use has good reverse picture as well and the sound to me seems better than other brands but that is it other's prefer different sounds to other people opinions but hey that's life.

For those that ask if you can use Google maps, well yes you can. It has the weblink app you can download on your phone which has mirroring for your phone as one of the options. It needs to be plugged into the head unit to use this. I have used this and it's great. If it doesn't fill the screen and is small, there's a tab to click on on the left hand side of the head unit screen to flip the image sideways so it almost fits the entire screen. I have a Huawei p30 pro and works perfectly fine with it.
I thought I'd upgrade from a flawless MVH-AV290BT to the AVH-A245BT to get a disc spinner back in the car. I went from flawless to glitchy china made junk overnight. Even after the firmware "upgrade" nothing improved. After several factory resets I at least got the clock to stay on time instead of jumping to whatever time it thought it was. Sometimes it plays the last source (USB) but mostly it starts on the tuner. Weblink is a hit and miss at best. Like mentioned elsewhere the screen seems 90's technology. Wired into the car via iso adapters, nothing cut and shut. Save your money, buy something else.
Installation was easy, the vehicle had already been wired with plugs for an older Pioneer system that was Japanese, it used an interface module to the vehicles control system including rear camera. There was a small issue as the original wiring included a GPS connection that kept sending a mute signal to the new system, don't take long to find. This unit is simple to use and has good sound.
Only been in car for 2 weeks so can't fault it, it is a great looking unit with smooth transitions and easy to use controls
I purchased this to replace a 10 year old factory Corolla head unit. The UI is simple and the screen is surprisingly responsive for a resistive touch screen, however Bluetooth audio is terrible. What Panasonic neglect to make clear is this head unit only supports Bluetooth SBC. If you care about bluetooth audio quality, this isn't the head unit for you. If you only use radio, USB, etc then it's great.
Good price, really decent head unit. A bit dated with no CarPlay but otherwise pretty nice. Would be good if you could add custom backgrounds, still need to double check that..
Make sure to get both 1x car specific adaptor and1x pioneer specific adaptor cables from store with purchase can't wait to upgrade speakers+sub under both front seats.
